it is by Eddie Vedder but it wasn't an official song on the OST. It's like an instrumental of his song Guaranteed. But the song Tuolumne sounds similar to it as well. Sorry that's all the info I have on the song =)

This movie is mind blowing! It's my favorite by far! I remember the first time i watched it. I already watched one movie this night and it was about 1am whe i decided to watch Into the Wild though i had to get up early next mornin'. Though i was a little tired when i started to watch it i immediately got into that one from the first second! I love it soo much! I love everything about it! The music, the story, the message, the atmosphere, the landscapes, the actors, everything man!:-) EVERYTHING!
