But, unless the youtube user is partner, the label wouldnt have gotten any money anyway. This also brings to light the arguement of sampling.
As in, how long is too long. If the entire song is sampled and uploaded, it can be recorded.
The true and basic arguement here could be the quality of the video soundtrack. If Youtube has the ability to mute a track, then they can also reduce the quality of it as well.

i don't think WMG is taking off all the videos or background audio. youtube might be doing this as they brokeup with WMG.

we don't know yet who is taking them off youtube or WMG. but they are still on on other websites. youtube might be doing this so that we dislike WMG. WMG is not bad at all.

Youtube is taking the videos down, because WMG is demanding that they be removed. This is because of a deal that was made between both companies. Now WMG is going back on there deal.

since i make my cd buying decisions by previewing the songs on youtube i'm amused that Warnerbros is taking down the free advertising for much of the music i love. their loss. they are screwing their own artists over, wtf? guess i'll just buy other labels. My past 5 purchases based solely on first previewing the music on youtube. (and not 1 of these purchases was a WB record) dipshits, just try to sell me REM, Flaming Lips and RedHot Chilis now! lol
