Whenever I go to do a front kick with my left leg, I feel a click in my hip. It isn't painful but it concerns me. I know I'm not as flexible and strong in my left leg. Is it something more causing the clicking, or just this?
He's right about the arc that curves when just snapping with the lead leg; there's just that much less impact as the force dissipates. I use the lead leg front kick when infighting, and it tends to surprise my sparring opponents b/c they think a kick will only come from a distance. I practiced as he instructed, but to give it power, I had to twist a bit into it and, as he does, have the rear foot perpendicular to the lead kick, or else I lost balance. This kick, done right, can be a fast one.

It's certification for mastery of kicking techniques and knowledge of how to instruct others to master the kicks.
More info will be available soon. You can go to ElasticSteel site for more details.
