The one thing I don't understand is. From where I am seeing it from is that Kyuzo, the victor of this duel, was the first samurai who came into Kambei's house, but yet he looks nothing like when he first came in, he looks younger, thinner, and has no moustache lol.

Bear in mind I have only watched the British 190 minute version not the US 209 minute version, so I might have missed a scene where Kambei talks to Kyuzo about the proposition?
