is it have an engine 1,6 litre benzine type and what type of gear it has ??? iplease feed me back cause i ve 2006 automatic transmission and have simillar performance
i owe an megane, but the 1.5dci. i've driven the 1.6 16v with manual and automatic transmission and i can say that the automatic version it's pretty slow compared with the manual.
got one in my drive. bit unreliable at times with the various expected problems (dephaser unit, auto gearbox slipping), but still a truly amazing car for what it is.
when it was on the road it was quick enough to keep up with bmw and mercs in the fast lane and it was quieter than our s-type jag.
the car is good..lol..i have renault megane and it runs excellent, it looks awesome,high end interior(all leather),and it accelerates 0-100Km/h in 11sec.
P.S:- why the fck do u need a car that accelerats 0-100km/h in less time than that? -R u a race-car driver or something?...for the city it's as good as it gets.
Don't need a car that goes from 0-100 in 3.5sec.i'm not thinking of braking any world records any time soon...lol xD
@noobsarechoobs : I think not , the megane is almost a complete package , good interior , good looking , reasonable engine with excellent fuel economy, outstanding safety ratings " Renault Megane receives five stars at the Euro NCAP crash tests" .. etc and of course it's reasonable price !
Megane tip tronic is a pussy as a friend of mine calls it,my dad's 1.6 05 megane accelerates slow"even slower than this vid due to high milage"I didn't calculate it but my Perodua kancil 0.85 manual accelerates faster,and that's wiered xD
Actualy when I run the video on my computer there is a difference 1 second between the pc and the youtube display , also the acceleration depends on how good is the condition of the car engine.
plus according to the official specs of the car provided from Renault ,the Megane 1.6 cc 16 valve should do 0-100 in 10.9 second , so according to this my car is good .
Atually , it is automatic with tiptronic transmission so i just push the pedal and the car does all the work , it has nothing to do with me :) , and i agree with you , this megane is supposed to do 0-100 in 10.9 sec , thanks for your comment :) .
Please note that it has automatic transmission switched to manual mode. You will never reach the acceleration of those with real manual transmission. Additionally you have to let the RPM reach higher values to have the maximal acceleration (torque).
Nice work anyway! If you are planning to add a new video, please try to show the RPM as well!
Yes Sure Those with manual transmision have faster acceleration ,, but still the those with the automatic transmision reach higher speed ." this is according to Renault ". and btw when i switch it to manual mode the computer won't let me reach higher rpm i just push the pedal to max and it does all the work (i can't reach beyond the redline) .. thanks for your comment :)
