  • Listen, y'all - he's talking about a 'breed' of dog called the FICE -- not FEIST! (I teach Sociology of the South which allows me to translate the vernacular. Fice is, by the way, a good word to know in Scrabble).

  • @SusanWebbonWeb it's spelled many differen't ways, but the typical American English spelling is feist, which is where the term feisty came from, the tenacious little dog that would not back down in a fight, or when targeting prey.
