I am amazed at how incredibly close minded some of you really are. Until smart phones give us zoom lenses, they will not be nearly as good for taking pictures as something like this. Digital and optical zoom are worlds apart in quality. I would like one of these myself, simply because I could take some pictures from farther off than I would be able to with my smart phone. Your smart phones is great for pictures with your friends, but not for taking pictures at a distance.

Until smart phones start giving us zoom lenses, they will be great little point and click cameras, but not that great for photography that is a step up... like taking pictures at a concert, or on a hunting trip, etc.
