We welcome all visitors! It is a great place. Lots of bands. Also, search YouTube for Macon Thriller and you'll see a yearly event where people do the Thriller dance downtown on Halloween. LOL It's awesome.

True story. Mr. Maxwell lived two houses from me. He owned WIBB where Hamp and the WIBB gang worked.

A week after he died I was mowing my lawn. A limo pulls in front of his house and out comes James Brown who had driven from Augusta to pay his respects to the widow.

Otis' grandson works at the museum. A great guy and the spiting image of his grand dad. Two members of R.E.M. are from here. I actually was there when Gregg Allman (Allman Brothers Band) and R.E.M. were inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Even Mike Mills came back.
