Read Forbes 500 for the list of worlds fastest production cars and you'll see that your clearly incorrect. Additionally, the GT500 will keep up or punish a lot of cars on this list. Lets not forget the Ford GT or the Z06 either

I'll agree with you that a big heavy mustang will probably not outhandle many of these cars, but lets not forget that it costs a fraction of what many of these eurocars do. Furthermore, the only way that many of these cars will beat it is on a twisty highway. Get the Ford on its homeland and i guarantee it will burn the majority of the cars on your list. Do your homework next time.

i quite happily admitted i like american cars, in fact i'm going on holiday to LA in 3 weeks and have rented a Shelby GT-H. My opinion on the matter is that european cars suit europe and that american cars suit america and that the two should not be compared as such.

did you notice the GT500 passing the porsche Carrera GT? Its only a german supercar with 605 horsepower, and a top speed of over 200 mph. I highly doubt that Carrera GT would ever have to move to the slow lane. I love the GT500 too but don't over do it
