@Haley24x7 because when that lighting bolt hit aang it severed the tie and made his chakra mixed up and not able to be regulated and released. but when oozzai attacked him and made the sharp rock hit the spot of his wound the chakra was re-aligned and the link renewed. so he didnt techincally die he only lost his ability to use the avatar state cuz of his chakra. but its fixed now.
This IS the same song used in the LoK trailer but the version used in the trailer seems a bit quicker, like they upped the tempo or something. I like both of the versions though. :)

Even so, we can tell from the season 1 finale that they didn't plan on ending the story there anyway. Hopefully the do the same with Korra; hopefully they're not planning on just making it a mini-series.
They should have at least showed what happened after the war, I mean everything can't be rebuilt. The whole Air Nomads were wiped out, how can the cycle the Avatar even be reborn when the only one left is just descendants of Aang...

Guys, I just watched the movie, and it was not that great compared to the Episodes, but yet I still fell in love with it. Who cares if there are some very very weird earth bending scenes, and if the characters say ANG instead of Aing, or Earow instead of iRow!! xD

They shouldn't make a season 4 because it's over, and that's it. What they should do is make a series for different Avatars, to help expand the story a little. They shouldn't however, milk it and make meaningless spin-offs that have no connection to the original series, because that would just ruin it and Avatar would lose it's flavor.

They shouldn't make a season 4 because it's over, and that's it. What they should do is make a series for different Avatars, to help expand the story a little. They shouldn't however, milk it and make meaningless spin-offs that have no connection to the original series, because that would just ruin it and Avatar would lose it's flavor.

@brickwockeez No, she's waterbender, that's the avatar cycle: water, earth, fire, air so she's a waterbender. Aang and Katara's son's name is Tenzin and he's Korra's airbending teacher.

@omegasoldier382 They said that they were going to hopefully make another season coming out in 2011. It takes place 80 years after the events of the first avatar and the new avatar has to learn airbending from aang and katara's kid.

@omegasoldier382 they are in fact making another series about a different avatar. The Legend of Korra. Its gonna be a mini series though. Only 12 episodes.

@omegasoldier382 Nick really can't :P. But at least Micheal and Bryan are still in charge of it, this new series will have the same animators Joaquim Dos Santos and Ryuki Hung, and the same music composer, Jeremy Zuckerman. So it will definitely be an awesome 12 episodes.

@ClubPenguinProVideos Sadly, it was just a teaser. And I don't think that the new Avatar show is going to be all that good, but it's good that they're going to show the old characters like how Aang saw Roku. I'm going to give the show a chance though, but nothing will ever change the way I feel about the original series. Avatar forever. :)

@ClubPenguinProVideos All good things come to an end. All good cartoons/anime come to an end. The series was very moving as is, and proved to be the best thing coming out of the American cartoon industry. I wouldn't want to ruin that.

How many years did it take for this 3rd season to come out? After the second season ended, i waited and waited and lost hope for any more avatar to come out. But then i saw this trailer, and my life restarted once again. :) why does avatar have to be over.. i dont know what to do about it anymore. ;(
