Could you possibly do comparison clips for changes made in the movie (like differences between the true original version [on the LaserDisc] and the version on the 2 DVD releases [if you have either one of them])?
@avickers1992 I can try. I actually own a laserdisc of TLK I just don't have a player for it. I'll try to find a LD copy and then compare it to my DVD. Now are you talking the Platinum release back in '04 or the '11 release? I mean I have them both I just need to know which one you'd like to see lol
@blueguppies Both DVD releases. I know the 2011 DVD is similar to the original cut on the 2003 cut with some minor differences. That's fine with me that you don't have an LD player, but good luck if you can try.
this movie is so UNIQUE, inspiring, emotional and amazing! I love it I'm 19 and I know every words by heart. This documentary is very interesting!! thank you for posting it on youtube. As a disney fan, I like watching how artists made their work and they were inspired. :)

I love the line where they say "maybe in the future someone will be inspired by TLK and do something great". If I ever make it in this world, I would refer back to this because I SO was.
@brucedickinsonfan Mmm I have to agree. Out of all the style in Disney movies I like TLK's the best. However, I would have to extend the admiration to Pocahontas as I do love that movie. Also the two were being made simultaneously. Anything after these two though and I despise them and don't consider them classics of the Disney renaissance.
well he didnt wanna go for the TLK cast interviews and didnt go to the Lion King 3D premiere and cause he didnt really want to be this famous and LK really just put him on top and doesnt really like being surrounded by attention I donno that just what I heard I dont know if its really true

Did u find anything on Jonathan - I wish hed talk about Lion King more today but heard someone saying that he wants nothing more to do with that movie cause it like messed up his life and when he was called up for a Lion King 3D interview he didnt wanna go and all the rest of the LK cast went but could go the HI reunion

Hmmm I can kinda understand that. Still sometimes you can find them new on Amazon and if the seller is the site itself, I've never had an issue with them. I'm sure you'll find it one day. I really want to see what "version" of the movie is on the blu-ray because I personally loathe Morning Report. It works on Broadway but not in the movie xD
new blu ray diamond edition is nothing really theres only like 3 or 4 features on it nothing compared to the Platinum nothing really about the making of it just shows how successful it was. Did u get the Diamond yet or r u gonna

@JTT100Jonas Oh I know how you feel but Disney wants to make money so they'll keep this stuff hidden away so that we keep buying new editions. As for laserdiscs, I have one but it's unopened so I don't plan on playing around with it. Laserdiscs are basically the version of video before VHS and are like 5x the size of DVDs. They are vinyl and look like records. The reason you can't find any of them is they're obsolete and their players are scarce. I'm 21 and only learned about them recently. xD

@JTT100Jonas Well I guess as of now they think that this is "current" and most likely since it's released they wouldn't be able to put "never seen before" in the title, thus they wouldn't get as much hype lol I have my 2004 DVD and it's my treasure since I don't have the blu-ray yet. @Tuffsy96 Oh I love it too. I am very partial to the Disney Renaissance, which I grew up in. Today though, I feel the stories are lacking and I'm not a huge fan of CGI so I'm not into Disney that much anymore. I did go to see TLK everyday in theatres for it's 3D release though.
