u can fix the save in that quest game. all u need is a button cell battery (like in most stereo remotes), some tape, possibly a knife. a pen that u can remove the ink, and a lighter

You can play Gold on the Original Gameboy. The Color games that were clear were the only ones you couldn't play on GB.

ugh, EB games! The only games I bought there where some old N64 and SNES games, sometimes new GBA/GCN games. Trading with them is a ripoff, ebay or yardsales are much better.......

That's right, on the box for gold it says it is compatible the original gameboy but the image will be in black and white. The only one that can't play on the original gameboys is crystal and afterward.

also nice DS stuff i have a black DS to i used to have new super mario and zelda but i sold them LOL. nice to see how scratchless your screens are! short recomendation - if you are wanting to sell your SP's then i strongly recoment ebay! they can sell for at least £30.00 depneding on the buyer! but it would be best to keep them or anolther ten years i think - they will be worth more then.

also just to finish off(went over the limit) i have the same-ish gameboy colour carry case thing and mine isnt broken but for yours i would recomend that you use clear tape it might make it look more sterdy. i have quite a few GBA games but not like yours lol also nice SP i have the tribal one but it wont charge for some freaky reson its my 3rd GBA SP thats broke in 2years! >:( dam will have to make anolther comment sorry dude

Just to let you know pokemon gold is backwards compatible with the original gameboy since i own one i would know it may be in black and white but any games that are the shape of the gold cart are backwards compatible. also i have a spare pokemon GBC battery cover if you want one since i have 3pokemon specila editions but 2 have broken screens on them.i also have the very same gameboy advance as you do the see through blue one?the only diffrence is mine has a chargeble battery apck thing on it.

Although Pokemon Gold and Silver are Game Boy Color games, they can be played on the gameboy/pocket/lite but it'll be in black and white, Pokemon Crystal is the only Pokemon Game that is only for the gameboy color (But It'll work on the Advance/SP

Well if you bought the one you have now in 2003 and its breaking now in 2008 I think its had a pretty good battery life. There is a way to replace the battery though.
