excellent. you should really try and review some beer from the Berkshire Brewing Company. Might be hard to get, or even impossible. It's a small brewery here in New England. If possible try the "Shabado" Black and Tan Ale. It's heavenly.

Wish I could get my hands on more Rogue beers where I live. Currently I've only been able to get Dead Guy Ale and Hazelnut Brown Nectar, which is currently my favorite beer (thanks to ur review which made me wanna try it haha) would love to try this though!

Good job Joe D, I have a question. What would you do if you bought a beer from a small brewery, started your review and realised after opening it that the beer was either off or just really bad? Just happened to me and i dont know whether to upload it or not. Cheers!!

@realaleguide Oh I would still upload it. You have to let people know what you think of the beer when you had it. Just let people know what was going on when you had it and see what happens. I have a review that I will post in a week or so of a beer that was past its expiration date when I reviewed it and I am still going to post it. So stay tuned.

Joe D! I've had this beer before, and I would say that it's my favorite Chocolate Stout that I've had. Young's Double Chocolate Stout is good too, but there is something about Rogue that just does it better for me.

I'm glad you say to not put the Rogue in the same bracket as Young's Chocolate Stout. The Young's stout is more typical of English stouts with are less about hop character then malt. Yet another great review Joe D.

If you like the Rogue Chocolate Stout look for the Great Divide Brewing Co Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout & the Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. Those are two thumb up beers, IMO.
