@Digikid2007 Actually it is true. Check the apple website, im pretty sure anything about ipods on the apple website is true and besides that i have also used both of them and the 3rd gen has much better battery life from my usage.
@aceofclubskid for $30 would check to make sure they work and are in good condition but yea if so definitely buy one for $30, thats a really good deal

Wow....one or two seconds faster. Sorry but...whoop de do. The 3G has less battery life. Because of that alone I would rather have a earlier model.

@Digikid2007 The 3g ipod touch actually has 30 hrs for music, and 6 hrs for video
The ipod touch 1g has 22 hrs for audio and 5 hours for video. So the 3g is actually better than the 1st gen in every way.

1st gen 8gb I would pay about $75 at most.
1st gen 16gb i would pay $125 at most.
