Gentlemen Afterdark to this day is still one of my all time favoritesI wish there were more videos or live footage of them.Whatever happened to the one guy that used to video tape them live at the mason jar Mike I think his name was.Hes got to have plenty! Mitch AKA (to Brian as Toby)is what he used to call me when we first met in the early days.PS I still have my autograghed album and tape along with my photo album of all kinds of GAD clippings and stuff even song list that I took
What's up with the 'COMPUSMITH' keyboard? I've been trying to purchase one just like that in the video, but can't find any . . . they must be awfully rare!!!! Boom, Boom Don!!
I instantly knew that was the Chicago store! but sadly, today, there is no junk like that to sift through anymore. Ironically they are playing a reunion show tonight in Phoenix...
I lived in Phoenix from '79 to '83. I never missed when these guys played at the Mason Jar. I never had as much fun before or since. They played at my 30th birthday party and it was great!!!!!
This was cool to see. I remember those days well, and I had a lot of fun at the Mason Jar watching them and others. this is for all the people I might have offended Sorry!!! AKA Jo Jo Fishhead
'Only in you' is my favourite tune from these blokes. Only seen 'em the once in Phoenix, AZ while on holiday from Ireland but they were great. I think I remain the only person in Dublin who's even heard of them!
Is the guitarist playing guitar after guitar off one of the back racks at the Chicago Store (in that one scene in the video)? Kinda looks like it. Know where I can hear the Pills "Gotta Get Away"?
@keithacdc7 Keith, your dad and I grew up together in Minnesota before they moved to Tucson. Your grandma is my godmother. It is sure great to see this video. Tell your dad, grandma and Jackie hello for me! Mark Banker
I still am with camera, I have 3 EMMYs for doing so. I'm in Los Angeles now and work mostly for NBC on their show Dateline. But I really miss Tucson. Those were great times.
I did. I hope this didn't embarrass anyone. I was friends with Barry and Maggie back in Tuscon and I shot this hoping to get on MTV's Basement tapes. I really liked the band. I was going through old boxes of tapes and found this. I hope you all got a kick out of it!!!!!!

Yup, in the second floor attic actually. We got yelled at by the owner for throwing stuff around. Can't help with the song finding.

Alas no. That was 25 years ago and I'm surprised I still had it. That was such great fun though. Great people.
