Buddy i give you your info. Look, what happens when contrails form? You nearly named it 'aerosols' ... so the hot planeengine goes through the cold air. Because of the rapid very shortterm heating up of the air by the planeengines the air can carry at a sudden more water. The theory sais as soon that plain flew by the air cools as rapidly and looses ability to carry water what gives you a lot of little icecrystal - that's the contrail. (part 2->)
-> so these icecrystals beginn to fall to the ground because they are not as light as water .... while they fall - in warm weather they melt - in cold waether they sublimate which goes fairly quick aswell since the falling ice passes by more air than as if it wouldnt move.
So here is my question: how can ice behave like that? Mate, just take a sunny day outside doing nothing else for a couple of hours then really looking at the trails/clouds and try to be honest with yourself.

@raef235ahjx Yes, they are high altitude (you do realize that planes fly at high altitudes, right? About the same altitudes as you find cirrus clouds?). And they can happen in summer; it depends on atmospheric conditions. It doesn't happen in high pressures, which happen more often in summer.
@shanedk - let's say 'above 8000 meters' ... some plains fly lower and produce trails too ... they fly formations aswell what wouldnt be allowed in civil airtraffic ... and the planes are much faster than the normal planes.... some 'normal' plains spray too ... i have counted 4 to 7 days all over 2008 where i did see other clouds than cirrus. how can you explain one plane with chem trail when the plane in proximity has no trail con or chem? same day same time same weather system - different results. Buddy i give you your info. Look, what happens when contrails form? You nearly named it 'aerosols' ... so the hot planeengine goes through the cold air. Because of the rapid very shortterm heating up of the air by the planeengines the air can carry at a sudden more water. The theory sais as soon that plain flew by the air cools as rapidly and looses ability to carry water what gives you a lot of little icecrystal - that's the contrail. (part 2->)

@shanedk - let's say 'above 8000 meters' ... some plains fly lower and produce trails too ... they fly formations aswell what wouldnt be allowed in civil airtraffic ... and the planes are much faster than the normal planes.... some 'normal' plains spray too ... i have counted 4 to 7 days all over 2008 where i did see other clouds than cirrus. That's not so much compared to 80s ... i just recommend you watch as many pro-videos as i watch con-videos ...

I guess you were attempting to prove that contrails are real. I have not heard the chemtrail folks dispute the science of contrails. In fact, they often point out the science of contrails to differentiate between that and what they claim is not (i.e. trails from low flying planes).

Are you kidding? Jet engines are MORE likely to give off contrails! Higher pressure, water vapor, more particulate matter=more contrails!

Chemtrails were not around when I was a kid. I don't know what they are but for sure planes are spraying something.
