  • Love NY reminds me of my hometown, Chicago

  • One of the best videos on you tube

  • Fantastic!!!!!

  • Thank you for posting this REALLY important document to take us ALL to school!!

The artists you have include, (some now gone) and the young virtuosos

who are creating their own legacies and keeping the flame alive are all'invaluable. Wehn they play and when they speak, it is always 100% from the heart as well as being brilliant and for REAL!!

and that is what jazz, like the music of Bach and the words of shakespea re is all about.MUSIC BUILT TO LAST

    THANK YOU FOR this treasure

    David Amram

  • This is very well done. Really does capture the spirit of New York.

  • God, this is soooooooo goooooooooood. I wanna be there right NOW!!!!!!!!! <3

  • Oh yes, by the way. JESSIE DAVIS, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you for this! Do you have any more footage of Augie's?

  • Beautiful atmospheres and music. I wish i will ever get to see it.

  • Interesting scenes of many jazz clubs long vanished. I miss Bradley's so much! It was a special place to hear and meet jazz greats in the 1980s. If you dropped in at 3AM you could brush shoulders and chat with the like of Stanley Turrentine or Art Blakey or see some of the young lions just emerging at the time like Roy Hargrove.
