My brother got this in his MAD mag when I was a kid. I remember rolling around on the floor giggling my arse off when I listened to it. Just this minute, it pretty much had the same effect.
in 1968 i first saw the original " its a gas" in a mad mag on 78 rpm vinyl included..played it for my parents house party when they were all blitzed...lol..i think they thought the burps were coming from the other guests...lol..
Gotta admit I don't like the music as much as the original...but the new burps are pretty cool...at 0:36, then the break around 2:00 (the time keeps lagging...but the toe tapping don't)...great stuff casey...have heard some, but far from all
I still have the record "A Mad Look At Graduation Day". I used to have the Mad Disco one as well. I'd love to hear "Disco Suicide" again though....Odly, I have quite a few these cardboard records of a various nature in my collection
Dr. Demento hipped me to the original version of this in the '70s, but it wasn't 'til I read the Wikipedia article about MAD that I knew to come looking for the disco version... Thanks for posting this! And STAY DEMENTED!
LMAOOO no way man!!! my brother bought this mag. back in the day .. we saw a vinyl page and a record needed to be cut out by scissors lmaooooo, We must have giggled for hours playing it over and ver. Thanks for the post and the memories
I remember having this record back in 1980. The floppy pullout from the magazine. I lost it a long time ago. Haven't heard this in almost 30 years. Thanks for the memories!
Burp Burp Burp YooHoo I can dance with my feets turned backwards...or did that Disco did it;now people are scaring me thinking I'm Evil with both my feets turned backwards..OMG,I can't find a pair of shoes to fit in...Casey,you did this to me.

Alfred E, Neuman could be played by Ted Koppel. They look so much alike.

If you got that kind of sound quality from that flimsy vinyl that was in that magazine over 30 years ago, you are to be truly commended. Fantastic!
