  • Great info. Thank u! But how in the world do u not buy a car. If u have a video on "how to be given a car" please post it.. thanks again!!

  • hmmmmmmmmmmm

  • hahahahah... he stupid.. hahhhaaahahha

  • @allanalasro i bet he owns more things then you do and works less then you do. he has a brain. most people don't have this. there is only a couple of us left out there. this man can play the game.

  • @johnwilkesbooth1865 yeah man... maybe he does.. but his ideas are not great. im just saying that way he buy a car is just not good ideas. im just saying man... what he did is just stupid.

  • hey thanks for the information. im in the process of trying to buy a new car right now. car salesman are such a pain.

  • I'm looking at a house listed @ $630k marked down from $860k. Its been on the market for 1yr. There was a death in the family and the property is part of an estate. The siblings are splitting the profits. What should I offer them?

  • Excellent advice

  • I've got a 1979 Ford Bronco, 351 Modified, was getting 12 miles to the gallon, now getting 25 avg., over 300,000 miles, starts and runs everyday, bought it for $650 in '03, have driven it all over the U.S. and I'm never giving it up because it's the best damn SUV ever made!!

I highly reccomend buying one, if you can find one!

  • actually that's great advise, I will use it.

  • terrible advise

  • Good advice on buying a home! I'm finding so many deals right now and of we are still offering atleast 50% less than what they are asking. The deal of the decade comes around once a week! =)

  • outstanding

  • One word - AWESOME.

  • great advice and great video ! ive been selling a house for over 2 years and need help. would love to hear your point of view on the flip side, how to sell a car or house. love the channel btw

  • Good vid

  • I Approve This Message.

Everything You said I can Confirm, for fact. Good Job.

  • My car is 17 years old and has 229,000 miles.

Im shooting for 368,000 miles ! Im keeping my clunker !

And I can buy a new car whenever I want WITHOUT 'Clunker' WELFARE!!!!

  • I really enjoyed this video. This is real information that people can use!

Would love to see the selling a house video - thanks Daniel!

  • i went to look and possibly buy a used 97 honda civic EX in 2006 with 40k miles in from a private party 2006. When i got there the seller already was talking to two other interested buyers. I researched the bluebook value which was = to their asking price. I bought it for $7,800 cash but now that I think back I should have haggled just to see what price my competition was at. The car is excellent though i put 35k more miles on it and only have done oil and tire changes. Dont be afraid to haggle.

  • timeshares are ripoffs. people are giving them away free. maintenance fees will cost $3-400 per week. sometimes more. you can stay in a hotel for that every year.

  • Thanks for the video, and good advice, you should do one on selling a house too.

  • damn i bought a toyot corolla 1996 for 3,000 dollars !!!!!

  • Good deal. Hopefully it has under 150,000 miles and is in good shape. Toyota engines can last 250,000 to 300,000 miles or longer with proper maintance and little break downs. This is surely a buyer's market now. Deals are everywhere. 2 years ago, I bought a 94 Honda Prelude Si for $3,000 cash when dealer was asking $5,000. Don't be afraid to low ball the price, dealers over price expecting buyers to low ball them.

  • @chutubeme thats expensive for an old car!!!

  • Great suggestions and great video!

This totally makes a lot of sense. Thanks.

  • LOWBALL! LOWBALL! LOWBALL! It only takes ONE "yes" to get yourself a steal on a house! Fuck all the rest!

One question though, Dan. You say to hold off for better deals on houses and cars, which I agree--prices are going down. But at what point should we be concerned about this dollar collapse? Obviously I want to wait until home prices continue to go down, but I don't want to wait SO long that I end up with a pile of worthless paper (my down payment). This is the conundrum I'm in.

  • Why are you telling people to be dishonest by them agreeing, signing, then have them call back and somehow voiding what they just signed. Whether you can do this legally or not. It is deceptive, dishonest, and very shady. That's wrong, I enjoy your videos but this is one I don't agree with. Why are you even saying it's ok to do a timeshire. They are not cost effective at all, and a poor choice. Bad!!!!!!!

  • I worked for a timeshare company (Wyndham). NEVER buy direct! Always buy resale timeshares...if you're going to buy a timeshare at all. People want out of those things SO BAD and are willing to unload them for pennies on the dollar just so they can stop paying the annual fees! God I hated working in timeshare. I may be unemployed now, but at least I have my dignity back.

  • BETTER ADVICE ON BUYING A NEW CAR: Go to the manufactures website, build exactly what you want. Get the price and printout and set up an appointment with the new car mgr. If you've done your homework you will know whether or not you are being treated fairly. Make sure you know what rebates are out there. Don't be rude, you will be treated much better if you are nice and apprreciative. If you like the deal and you believe it is fair, then buy it then.

  • AGREED--When I bought my Honda I got a better price for being an "internet customer" than I would have been given if I'd just walked into the showroom. The guy said the reason is because it's harder to get internet customers into the dealership. Makes sense. I saved a grand just by doing that. Other than that though, Honda is a TOUGH company to get a deal with...especially on Civics! I learned that the only deal on a Civic is on one that's been crashed lol.

  • Try ebay for timeshare like blue green points

  • Great video Dan. Oh and what are your views on apts/condos. Are they the same or have other things to look out for. Also, should I wait a couple of year before I buy (my mom really wants to buy right now and I am telling her that right now is not the time to buy). Thanks for the info

  • This might be the wrong video to ask this on but what the heck is going on with the stock market. How long will this last? Will this only o up from now on?

  • It has about 35 more days

  • Great video, make some more if you can

  • When it comes to used/new car dealers: never tell the dealer what you are looking to spend. They always ask this. Never tell them.

Time shares: just say no. These people are even more annoying than used car dealers. If you do have one (I do), when you use it never think that you have to do what they want you to do with your time. All they want you to do is buy more and you are under no obligation to attend their meetings.

House: spot on Daniel, low ass embarrassing offers. Agents are sleaze.

  • How do you get to view houses if you don't have a buyers realtor? Who do you call? Do you then get 2.7% of sale price as buyers agent? I appreciate your videos?

  • Just call the listing agent. No you don't get a commision, but usually you can get a reduced price.

  • Happy FDIC Friday.

Any guesses on how many bank failures we'll have today?

  • 5-7 lol.

  • Doesn't matter. 9500 on the DOW baby - BOOYEAH!

    I'll guess 3.

  • Wait till next weeks FDIC report, batton down the hatch's.

  • 3 more banks today

  • Only 7% of the car dealers have recieved $ from Uncle Sam for the CFC program, WHERE IN THE HELL IS OUR MONEY?!?

  • I promised myself when the kids were grown, I was buying myself a new Mustang. I had a good gov't job, but got laid off just after my youngest turned 18! So I'll wait a couple years now & maybe get one a lot cheaper.

  • AMAZING VIDEO! love hearing you talk about buying real estate!

  • Wow, this is great info for anyone purchasing a large ticket item. Please make a video for sellers too!

    Thanks

  • awesome

  • I've never bought a car. Had two given. My pal used to get new cars off the lots every ten years by taking the model that was there. He always went for an inexpensive, chopped, efficient one to begin with, bought the Consumer Reports profit margin printout, and offered two hundred dollars more than that. They groaned, but he got great cars. Here in France, we can buy used cars sold by the car company employees. They are less than one year old. Our '95 Citroen ZX diesel is that.

  • this is better than your econ updates! Your experience shows.

  • Heh, that's awesome. I'm going to do that from now on.

  • Used rental cars are often a good deal. Something with less than 15,000 miles on it. Be careful, the financing can be worse sometimes if you aren't paying cash.

I personally have a soft spot for old crown vic squads. Haven't had one yet, but if you can spare the fuel economy (about 25mpg) it can be a good deal.

  • when buying a car..BUY USED...buy only after u get the right price AND sale contingent upon CARFAX REPORT and inspection by an independent mechanic

  • If the countrys going deeper down the shit, into a bigger depression, how are you gonna buy a car or house.???????????????????????????

  • Believe it or not, some people don't lose their jobs in a depression, so they can profit from the downturns. That's what he's doing this for.

  • Haha loved the news today. "Unemployment applications *unexpectedly* rise". I also fell off the chair laughing. What's unexpected about hyping up alleged unemployment claims drop in numbers (explained by natural tendency for people to take vacations/breaks during hot summer) and then simply seeing the numbers once again naturally increase because people are coming back from vacations/breaks to look for jobs again? There is no recovery without EIGHT-FIGURE job increases and not McDonald jobs!

  • I worked in car sales. His ideas are VERY GOOD. Smart guy.

  • GREAT info!

  • Thanks VV,

I hope you get that video on selling a house soon. We have had our house up for sale for two months now and have only had three lookers. Any tips would be helpful.

  • Hey there... would you take $1000 for it

    :)

  • i got a 1994 mazda mx-3 with 150k miles, for 1300, two year old clutch, in decent shape. For a first car i think i got a good deal, no debt is the best.

  • fair price is 300

  • its in very good shape, body kit etc. well taken care of, i've been looking for months, best deal i found.

  • ok ok, I was just kidding

  • lol but i should have haggled that low :P

  • one comment on the real estate contract: there are two types of contracts, I have heard the terms dry state and wet state. For example, in Florida lawyers do not usually negotiate real estate contracts and it is usually real estate agents and title agents at closing. However, I know New Jersey is not one of those states and everything is negotiable. Meaning that lawyers come to the table in that type of setting.

  • thanks

  • I have noticed that car dealers have been trying to minimize the role of the internet in car buying - they want to retain the old model of having to deal with sales.

  • Hey visionvictory, there is no food at the grocery store, i meant tgold is at $5000 an ounce, I mean the dow is at 4000, I mean there is no one on the roads because no one has money for gas, haha just kidding!!!

  • Great tips, things I wouldnt of thought of cheers

  • I'd try the car thing again, but I did try this tactic once via and was promptly....ignored! Lemme know if someone out there in addition to Daniel gets a good deal this way. Great vid, again!

  • Daniel. I heard the FDIC may be in big trouble when they release their 2nd quarter results on August 25th. They are saying the results will trigger bank runs and bank holidays in September. What's going on?

  • Dude come on. Buy American.

  • Dont believe I've ever met a car salesman that was a trained salesman. Not saying they dont exist...just never met one myself.

  • Some one who sells cars every day Vs someone who buys one ever few years. I would say you are up against someone who has been doing some training.

  • Thanks Daniel this sounds to me excellent advise, thanks

  • Dan, thank you brother. Please make a video for selling a house. I bought at peak on 05'. I live in Red Bank, NJ nice town. Lots of inventory, but I think I have a advantage, I hope anyway. Need to sell or rent because I believe like you, housing will go continue. The plna is to sell, rent and then buy again. Thanks-Bob

  • Please do a video on getting the most for selling your house. I am about to, and would really appreciate your thoughts.

  • Build a time machine and go back to '05?

  • One thing I am surprised is that you buy your cars new...I would definitely expect you to buy used.

  • Awesome video! Great advice. I would really like to see a video getting a bit more in depth on buying a house. Such as what to pay for yourself (inspections, etc.), getting more details about your legal rights, is putting in an offer as simple as calling the seller and putting in the offer, etc. Thanks so much for all your FREE advice. I'd bet it is better than at least 95% of paid financial advisors advice in this country.

  • I have been in sales for over 30 years.

This is a good approach to buying a car.

    It does work.

  • Brilliant advice. Those low ball offers won't be that out of line this time next year ;)

  • why didn't you buy a real car that doesn't break? like made in Japan.

  • thanks you

  • I used to be a car dealer. Great advice. I recommend faxing Monday night.

  • Thx for sharing

  • Great advice. Thanks Vision.

  • LOL 40 minutes of work for the Realtor!! When did it ever take that long? ; )

  • LOL

  • Great video!!!! Thanks for the info!

  • Great video....I'm looking to purchase my first home, but I think prices are still going to come down more. I will wait it out, slap down some low offers and hopefully get a great deal. We will see.

  • Is that 06 Tacoma in clunker status yet

  • LOL!

  • no way :)

  • I like the aggressiveness. Emotional control is HUGE. In fact, people need to practice walking away.

Haggling is a way of life for the rest of the world. During my travels in Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Central America, I've found that you've got to FIGHT! Here we just scan and pay. I have gotten used to a good show down, even in sub Saharan heat waves!

    Great Advice!

  • Thanks.

  • you can offer $1 if you like you ask seller to pay you to take over the property ,

it does not mean you will get it , especially if you really like it CA prices must come down they are still very high indeed , invest in other areas if u do it for money . Do not invest in CA

  • quite often their prices are overinflated I once talked a Honda dealer to sell me new Honda with original price tag of 27 K for 16 K fully loaded

you should not be paying more than 2 K of dealer cost .

  • I'm planning on purchasing between 50 and 100 acres of land. Any advice on foreclosure auctions.

  • yeah , check out properties before hand very well quite often there are many claims against those properties are are not immediately visible

  • Will do. Thanks.

  • thanks

  • Oh my God . Coultrane , if you need to ask for advise stay the hell away from those

educate yourself very well first there is a lot to learn

  • I have time on my side. Taking advice is key to survival, in my opinion.

  • Spot on information... This is a buyer's paradise if you have the money. The individual trying to sell a house has the same mentality as a CEO trying to sell a product. Especially in this economy.. if you WAIT long enough and put the pressure up.. the retailers will start to crack. Thats why if you go into a GAP or electronics store you find amazing deals.. and they're only getting better. Take advantage people. Not that this economy is getting better any time soon.

  • Two books I suggest reading that take a look at this from two different angles: "The Millionaire Next Door" and "The Sociopath Next Door". In life it is important to know who and what you are dealing with: wealth accumulators who contribute to the common good, and wealth accumulators who HAVE to win at all cost.

  • Thanks for the tip about "the Sociopath Next Door". I just ordered it from Amazon.

  • You sooo rock.

    Great info as always.

    Thanks.

  • I lowball all the time. It's all about opportunity. I picked up my current home for 50% of the asking price, because the seller was desperate and HAD to sell NOW.

Opportunity. I had to write 1,000 offers to find the one 50% opportunity. I wound up saving $250k by doing this. If you have the tenacity, it pays off. And you don't have to deal with half of the realtors again anyway, because most of them wont even respond!

Be careful about sending in multiple offers through the same agent.

  • 5 stars.

  • I've bought and sold RE... the necessity of a RE agent is based on fear, on the size of the transaction. Understand what you are signing and the fear will diminish.

  • Great tips. Thank you.

  • Thumbs up!

It is sad to see a whole generation 'conditioned' into paying the price on a sticker.

It is the same generation that only knows that meat comes on a styrofoam tray wrapped in plastic; they wouldnt know how to actually kill and butcher the cow.

In my past as a kid the best experience was to go to flea markets and you always offered less than asking price. It is called striking a bargain. It is something that has been lost by our culture. Time to re-learn it everyone!

  • Great advice.....I am considering doing just what you say. I want to by in a retirement community. ten years ago I could have bought the property I am interested in for 40. thous. today it is $114500. it is A mess. think it has tons of liens. and HOA fees. Been on the market over a year. I will send a fax offing 20 thousand just for kicks....

  • coming from a guy who didn't buy much-needed shoes and waited until xmas so he could get them for free as a gift...Daniel, we love you, bro, but you are making Mr. Burns look generous. ;-)

  • Daniel, you're a bit like Robin Hood instructing his merry men. As a self-employed builder of quality woodworks, I am never offended by people with the "give me your best price" attitude. I always give them the same good price I would give anyone else. The smart ones know how to motivate a worker to produce their best work. Those who simply want to beat me down are the ones I'd rather not work for, anyway. With cars there is a standard; with custom work a customer will get what they pay for.

  • if you're using manipulative tactics with a car dealership i can accept it but not with a family or individual. you're advocating playing their emotional weakness regardless of what is a fair price. that's not christian. if you put business before faith then you're no better than the miscreants who lie and deceive who are known as politicians and ceo's.

  • jewelbridge, incorrect. Nobody puts a gun to their head, they can always refuse any offer. As long as no deception is used, i.e. outright lies, then a business deal is just that. How is a low offer a lie or deception? If I were selling a house, I would expect potential buyers to want to try to get the best deal they could for themselves. Same with a used car or for that matter, anything. A fair price is one agreed upon by both parties.

  • Selling a house is a business transaction. They are trying to make a profit from you, you have every right to go into the deal with guns blazing.

  • Never, never buy a timeshare!!!!

The maintenance fees never go away!!!!

  • This vids great, bro. Hope these folks don't catch wind of it. ;)

  • good video - finagling 101

  • Hahahaha, ashamed. That's exactly how i feel when i'm haggling for stuff. Works well in any independent shop. And always walk away, lol :P

  • that was an informative video - one of your best!

  • NEVER buy a new car, only vehicles that are at least 1 or 2 years old.

    NEVER buy a timeshare ever.

  • Definitely spot on with the vehicle advice. The same goes with a home in my opinion, unless the builder is going to furnish those things that would have been installed within the first five years of ownership, i.e. ceiling fans, garage door openers, sprinkler system, floor covering, landscaping, moulding, etc....

Renting a time-share is even better, because right now the same perks can be offered on a unit that has been unoccupied and all I want is one week at Nags Head for my vacation budget.

  • I heard on the radio today that the local dealers are having a hard time getting their money from the govt due to paperwork delays. Various govt employees have been drafted to catch up on the paperwork so that the dealers can get paid. FAA workers in OKC have been temporarily reassigned to catch up on the clunker program paperwork.

  • 11:10 --125k for 300k house-

    Jeeeez

  • Agree. I am looking at property that has potential, is not a foreclosure, needs work and is listing for 40k less than the one next door.

    Red Flag?

No. Not in discussing the home with the neighbors and the home-owners association.

I can get a 3 Br/ 2.5 bath/2 car garage for under 50k, but ...I'm not budging for another year when I can buy 1 and get 1 free.

It isn't capitalist pig-ism when the home was well over-priced to begin with. We can either think differently or consent to slavery.

  • What's the mpg on a 2006 Tacoma?

  • This video is too funny!! I just put an offer in on a house yesterday and the asking price was $69,900, had been reduced several times, on the market for over a year and I told them $40,000!! hahahaha The realtor almost had a heart attack!!

  • Good job, let them sit on for 6 months, then offer offer 30 and settle for 40 :) Get a friend to call them with a lower offer, tag team it.

  • Heck yeah!! Thanks for the tip!

  • Real estate is obviously local, but I can tell you what is happeing here. It isn't nearly as bad as places like CA but are experiencing some downward pressures on home values. Appraisers are softening their appraisals a little bit - maybe 5%-10%. Existing home sales are down a little but not too bad. The real problem is new home sales and new starts are way down. What is concerning is that we are starting to experience inflationary pressures on materials and labor. Not good.

  • Dont know where you are, but here in FL its still pretty bad. Appraisers are conservative because they are randomly contacted by the banks and don't want to screw it up. The same guys that were crazy on their appraisals to suit certain mortgage companies/realtors now could care less.

If I were in the market to buy a house right now I would STOP! Why not wait; prices are not going to suddenly spike, BUT they could expoerience 20-30% to the downside in the next year or two.

  • People, STOP BUYING USELESS CRAP!

It's all going to be worthless soon, so use your money for the essentials - gold/silver, food, and supplies.

  • Impressive I though I got the best deal on a car when I used carcost and showed them their cost and gave them 2% above it.

WOW you did better, lower than cost maybe.

  • I think you're in a different situation than most people in regards to needing a realtor as a buyer. Someone like you or me (builder/developer) could handle the situation and come out ok, but most people are extrmemly inexperienced and could get taken advantage of pretty easily. I've had friends go out and try to do their own deals only to realize they screwed up and want me to figure out some way to get them out of a bad situation or out of a contract that was slanted in favor of the seller.

  • Of course I agree with you that realtors are a major inconvience if you can do your own thing. They're a real pain in the ass if you ask me, but I guess they provide a service to those who need them.

  • Despite two degrees, I made my living for 28 years 'horse trading'.

    House buying advice is excellent.

Car buying is fair. The salesman sees the next two guys in line that you don't see. He gives you his big discount first. At the end he switches the tires as he cleans it for you at your great price.

Time shares are not my thing. However welching on a deal is immoral and illegal in many places. Try this at a flea market and every vendor will know in ten minutes. Fancy cars scratch easy.

  • breaking the deal is a legal option in the contract.

  • Take it from me...I work in sales, and people like Daniel drive us nuts!!...but he's right though :)

  • The only problem is Im looking for a toyota tacoma a certain type (efficient engine, no extended cab) and find that every dealer has limited capacity so there is only like one or 2 in the whole large area that have one.

Did you go to all 4 dealers first or did you just mail them after looking up their inventory online? There is no way I could drive out to the local dealerships out here and then go back home without buying. Did you get any responses from the ones you emailed?

  • Great info..thanks Daniel...another good thing is to go wih online sites that list on the MLS..example Homekeys ..a number of them out there.. it is a flat listing price and if you are selling they do a lot of their own advertising to attract Buys...skip the middle man as much as possible!

  • In your economic video tomorrow could you please tell us what your opinions of the Webbot are? They say its going to be a bad Fall of 09 as well. Do you follow the Webbot project Daniel?

  • Didn't they say the 16th this month was supose to be something huge in the economy? I didnt see anything did you?

  • I don't follow it and really don't know anything about it.

  • When we were looking at our house, the neighbor told us to offer no more than $190k. After we paid $1k over the asking price we found out the neighbor had offered $195k. The house/ location was worth a million to us. The value tripled in 10 years and is still worth twice as much as we paid.

The neighbor lost his house to foreclosure. A Stanford econ major. I am that brilliant person that buys a new car every 20 years. Self employed, also.

    "You get what you value"

  • a.

    STANFORD EDUCATION:

I received my Stanford education second-hand. I've known and worked for many who thought themselves "the best and the brightest". I observed their habits, listened to their advice, and learned the hard lessons they were unwilling to risk. One neighbor, an MBA (Stanford), whose wife also had her masters from Stanford, said to me one time, "I wish I had your passion".

  • b.

Well, I simply look at the world from a more humble perspective; and I listen to people at a deeper level. Passion is worth more to me than the gold I could have stashed under the mattress. I've mined for the heart of gold in people rather than accumulating gold bullion.

  • good for you :) Own it ;)

  • A happy home makes for well-adjusted kids and a strong marriage, which is worth millions. Any sincere Christian would know why. A home is different than a house.

  • carefulcarpenter:

"Any sincere Christian would know why."

Only a Christian would know that?

  • pdsavage--

substitute "true Christian" with any term that identifies a person who walks their talk.

  • why are you buying foreign cars?

  • because they are made well and they are assembled in the US?

    Unlike Government Motors...

All 2010 GM's coming from China!

  • Americans need to consiider supporting American auto makers by buying the products period. I dont care where they are made right now. THE PROFIT STAYS HERE. Stay out of it. you are canadian and your opinion doesnt mean anything regarding this topic. GM had to go oversees to manufacture part of the fleet because they have these organizations called UNIONS that are bleeding them dry. I live 40 miles from Detroit. You dont know jack about it.

  • I know detroit is dead and in canada our government spent 1.5 million per job saved...to the tune of 10+ billion dollars.

How much do those dipshits in the factory get?

    40k?

    80k?

Well its costing us 1.42 million dollars per job saved after they pay out.

Right after the bailout they sent 1 billion to china and 1 billion to brazil.

You need to BUY AMERICAN MADE SHIT "MADE IN AMERICA".

  • You are guranteeing yourself to be a slave if you buy shit coming from china.

What TPTB want is your salary to = their salary. Buy GM thats exactly what you are doing. WAKE THE FUCK UP.

You are fueling your own DEMISE!

Chinese style wages coming to america real soon...after your DOLLAR IMPLODES!

  • Are they really foreign anymore? Toyota and Nissan have plants in the U.S.

  • I don't want to buy anything that I have to make payments on. But, most of us don't have a choice. :(

  • Unrelated to this video, but there is a great article in the NY post about the manipulation of the housing numbers.

just Google or google news search:

WHAT THE GOVERNMENT REALLY SAID ABOUT US HOUSING.

Too bad I can just post the link

  • Thank you, can you send me a private message with the link? I would like to put that on my website.

  • I always deal in person with the car sales manager. Ask him to see the invoice on the vehicle that you want. He will show it to you if you assure him that you want to buy "today" with cash or certified check. ; )

  • I wish I had met someone like you with such advice before I bought my first car. It was a disaster and I didn't even go alone. I had 'help' from the person who came with me.

  • They didn't know anything in terms of getting the best deal.

  • dude - you got to do one on selling your house!!!

  • I will, I feel like I was mean to sellers. I will do one soon.

  • dat is some great advice, it would work with everything!! thank you

  • I don't buy car this way, I buy car by going to a dealership. then bullshit with the sale person. leave them address and phone number. then ask them for an offer for 30% off of what they offer me. Most likely they will say "no". Then I go out. if they want to sell you a car, then they will offer a better price. still you want to stand with your offer. them they will ask you talk to the manager. then you will most likely get good deal. if not, that only mean the dealer doesn't want to sell.

  • Right on! Grind down those sellers and their dreamland prices! Problem is that even at a great reduction to today's pricing, the price will still be way too high compared to what is coming in a few years. I really like the part about making an offer that is "embarrassing". I never understood why people are afraid to make these "embarrassing" offers.

  • 1) buying cars at the end of the month

    2) contacting the internet sales manager (they deal on volume)

more good tips to buying a car. Dont go to a dealer to negotiate, only to test drive. Make them entice you with a good price to get you to the dealer. If you go to the dealer you did half the work for them already.
