  • boring

  • i like the 90s mickey mouse cartoons that use to come on disney now disney is nothing

  • Uncle Donald!

  • @ashleingh Dolan*

  • @ashleingh Actually, the original comics said "Unca Donald!!" It is so very hard to understand because they say it so fast (not to mention the audio of the 1930s was often garbled. I've read so many Disney books (including the Donald Duck Treasury series) that I can notice it anytime. Don't worry!! I'll still rate your comment. I just thought that I'd throw in a little bit of Disney trivia for you.

  • was this episode really was 1938 if it is woow that is a long time

  • merci pour cette vidéo

  • 3:31 catsup?

  • 2:22 - 2:26 BOOTY BOOTY BOOTY BOOTY ROCKIN" EVERYWHERE!!!

  • In one of the first scenes of this episode, I really wish that Donald would listen to his nephew when it came to the part where he was trying to show them how to chop down a tree but he didn't notice that the tree was petrified. Something tells me that Donald should read signs on the trees that are petrified first before he starts chopping down a tree that he thinks isn't petrified.

  • Tomato katsup... Lol

  • 1:00 what is that song there singing?

  • Now that's what I call first aid.

  • 2:14 So thats what they mean by shake your tail feathers....

  • LOL

  • tomato catsup:P

  • Lol I dont get it, were the Indian Paint Pots ( Devil's Stew Pot) and Old Faithful ( Old Reliable) trademarked names in the 30's to where they couldn't use the real names? Or were they just trying to be funny?

  • Devil's "Stew Pot" is obviously a parody of "Devil's Tower", which is about 300 miles east of Yellowstone on U.S. 14. That's one 'devilish' looking monument.

  • brings back so many memories...

  • I think there's something wrong with this clip, was color T.V., let alone color animation available in 1938???? Or was this regenerated later into color after the original was made in 1938? Because Technicolor was in the 1970's I know that...

  • @TheLogicman1

The first Disney cartoon in color was "Flowers and Trees" in 1932. You are right to think that there was not color television available in the 30's - but there were many, many color films - and these cartoons were being released to theaters at the time. This film was originally in color.

Technicolor has been around since the 1920s.

  • @dogbloodleblume Whoops, my mistake, haha. Thank you!

  • @dogbloodleblume colour movies were around long before the 1920's. on youtube there is a joan of arc movie that dates back to 1899 and is all in colour.

  • @ultradumbass thats because they remastered it

  • @TheLogicman1 There were limited TV broadcasts during the 30's, but it was in B&W, an expensive niche product, and development came to a screeching halt during WWII. This particular cartoon probably wasn't aired in TV until the 50's, likely on the Micky Mouse Club.

As for Technicolor, it goes back waaay back before the 70's. The very 1st Technicolor film "The Gulf Between", was released 1917, I thing the British had been making color films even earlier than that.

  • Of all Disney characters, Donald Duck was and is still, my favorite character!! :)

  • some one other then me who thinks the bear looks like an oversize rat? ^.^

  • 10+ for the quality.. thank you•keniaolmeda•

  • quality is a # 1!! thanks buddy!!!

  • whats catsup?

  • @SabrinaSayHi ketchup

  • I guess kids from the 90-is have never seen this good old stuff.

  • @tehtud2008

What are you talking about? Most classic theatrical shorts were fairly easy to find on cable or satellite up until the mid 2000's. I'm pretty much a 90's kid, and I was a huge fan of Mickey and the gang. I had tapes with some of these classic shorts. I even had some with Tom and Jerry, Felix the Cat, and some Warner Bros. shorts. Those were good times!

  • soperrrrrrrr
