  • SHIIIIT!!! Loook at that mesoscale line end vortex at the end of the first loop. This sucker meant business.

  • Three people forgot something about the internet.

  • i live in cass county, indiana, i dont remeber that but it looks lik i got pounded.

  • I remember this day well, like it was two years ago. Oh wait. It produced at least one visible lightning discharge every two seconds for two hours. It also left a tale of stupidity. My sister's marching band was outside practicing when this thing was coming, and didn't decide to go in until it was too close to escape because the lightning sensor failed to go off.

  • Great footage!! Excellent song!!

  • gibson ridge?

  • i remember that day, i looked out the window and i saw a huge funnel cloud about 2 miles away and sirens were going off.... so i decided to go in my basement and play world of warcraft till it was over :)

  • Nice Derecho. Also props on the Ted Stevens song.

  • whats the song called? its awsome :)

  • nice hook echo near Clinton Iowa!!!!!11

  • Believe it or not.....I got 3 sets of videos of severe Tstorms in parts of the state of OHIO on ****FRI 7/9/99**** ...yiehsss...!!! Blanchester, Dayton and Canton, OH...and are quite awesome videos too...after they were videotaped and mailed to me by Internet-met buddies back then.

  • that was a derecho

  • look at the shape its a bow echo

  • The Internet... is not... The internet... is Tubes! Why?... Tubes!!

  • good radar loop...and now this damn song is stuck in my head.

  • That was a hell of a bow echo...

  • indeed it was, i like how you can see the whole complex bow out before slamming the city

  • What radar software is this? Great song, too. :)

  • No software, the radar and warning data is from the National Weather service. And it is free. Never pay someone for radar data like accuweather who wants upwards to 50 bucks a month for their gold weather package. When they use the very same data anyone can get for free. It is out there, one just needs to know where to find it then render it.

  • Ok, since you brought it up, care to share where we can get this "free" service?

  • He told you, the National Weather Service. Pay Attention!

  • was the name of the song and do you download the radar or somthing of the national weather service website.

  • there is a better radar than national weather service that is free. go to wunderground. you get to access all kinds of radar displays: like echo tops, VIL density, velocity, composite, and the standard NEXRAD. the radar also displays each individual storm track with a storm table below the radar displaying what each storm is capable of producing. once you go there, you won't think twice about going to NWS radar.

  • and there is a loop capability too.

  • These storms usually weaken by the time they reach the Indiana border, but this one kept regenerating!

  • I know were almost lost power

I from 100 miles east of here
