  • Brock talks shit, but everyone forgets that Heath Herring talked shit about Brock for being a pro wrestler. Just like Mir talked shit about Brock.

People were so pissed about Brock's antics, but nobody says anything about the Mir video where his training partner & he are mocking Brock.

  • Don''t listen to all the haters on youtube. Most of these guys make replicate accounts just to downgrade other peoples work.

  • nerdsssssssss

  • Pisssssss off, assssssssshole. Fuck you

  • I find it a little funny how people in america are going crazy at how pro wrestlers are going into MMA. Japanese wrestlers were already doing this in the late 80's and mid 90's with akira Meada and Takada joining IWF and pancrase. I just like how america is always last to do something and sometimes think they did it first.

  • hair cut suck .. sooo G**

  • No idea what you're talking about. Try English next time

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • thought this was a wrestling show? I hate MMA. create a new talkshow strickly for mma so I don't have to suffer through this.

  • I didn't know someone was putting a gun to your head, making you watch the show. I'll tell them to put the gun away & end your suffering. You hate MMA? Then don't watch when we talk about it, plain & simple

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • No gun to my head, I had to watch it though, obsessive compulsive, I just can't miss a show now I found it. Also I didn't want to miss anything incase wrestling came in the conversation at some time.

  • haha, well, thanks for the dedicated regardless :)

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • You got problems

  • nice hair cut loser

  • Fuck you, Internet Tough Guy!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I was/am definitely one of the Lesnar nay-sayers, I never liked him from day 1 in either WWE or UFC, thought he was soft, and thought that, once he made it to UFC, he would be destroyed - let's face it, Min Soo Kim is no Frank Mir - but after two impressive fights in the Octagon, I have very little reason to keep riding him. I just hope he doesn't let it get to his head, start thinking he's unbeatable, and have Couture knock his teeth in. It will be a compelling fight.

  • well brock knocked the shit out of couture

  • hey what u guys think about the new president barack obama.

  • I can only speak for myself, but I did not vote for Barack(I didn't vote McCain either). I had a few qualms with him so I voted third party, but his charisma is undeniable. He's a great orator, so I'm taking a "wait & see" approach. I'll watch him with an open eye and see how he does. And even if it doesn't turn out great(can't be much worse, right? Well, if the New World Order has it's way, heh...), if nothing else, it was great seeing how much his election meant to black Americans

    -E

  • I voted for ob Barr and his rock'n mustache.

  • When you guys said brock did'nt attempt to KO herring or "go for the kill" Brock said It wasnt his game plan to KO herring, His game plan was to Ground and pound him the whole way threw, brock was simply the better fighter. Brock says it at the end of the fight.

  • Right. I think he knew too much was on the line to risk opening himself up should he have gone for a finish. And that's cool. As it was, he completely dominated Herring. But, considering he broke Herring's orbital bone with just one punch, makes you wonder how it would have turned out if he HAD gone for it. And I think most would agree he has to try to finish Couture when they face in a couple weeks

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • Brock knocked on wood, thats why he lost to mir, he went for the finish. Hes probley gonna do the same to Randy, ground and pound him. Simple, he goes in with a plan and uses it, thats all. Like he said "im just a robot when i fight, we use our plan and thats it"

  • I think Brock's actions after the fight were all for show. There's a large faction of UFC fans that think he's "tarnishing the purity" of the sport because he's "just a muscled-up pro wrestler."

I think Brock (drawing from his wrestling experience) knows that he can manipulate the crowd into loving or hating him...if they hate him enough, they'll buy ppv's in hopes of seeing him get his ass kicked. And, if they buy ppv's, he's making big money...UFC needs more polarizing personalities.

  • Maybe, but I think a lot of the anti-wrestling feeling against Lesnar's waning down if not gone already, after his impressive performances. I'm sure he felt the need to do it as in,"See? I proved myself to all you doubters & skeptics," but yes, I think Lesnar knows how to manipulate the audience.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I think part of Brock's hesitation (just guessing; didn't see the fight) was because he was given a foul in his previous fight, lost his advantage and evenutally lost the match?

  • Interesting point we forgot to mention. Also noteworthy because Brock & his team are requesting I believe the Nevada State Athletic Commission to NOT have Steve Mazzagatti referee the Couture fight, and I don't blame him ; Mazzagatti didn't warn Lesnar the first time. Instead, deducting a point without a warning. That's bullshit because I don't think those strikes(hammerfists to the back of Mir's head) were intentional. That said, I don't think it lead to Lesnar losing either.

    -E

  • ..truth with the kimbo vs. brock....but i was not 4 brock this match but he was learnin more with his pound and ground..but his mma skills need 2 cum up...he needs more experience and he will be good..more time..he's a good hype man..but not yet..he don't got those skills yet

  • Brock's a fast learner, and performed very well in his first three fights, despite the loss against Mir

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I agree with Brock v Kimbo. Two dudes who know nothing about martial arts might as well fight.

  • Brock dominated 99% of the Frank Mir fight, and Herring, a former Pride title contender, couldn't do anything to him. He made a mistake that cost him the Mir fight, but that's against a former UFC heavyweight champion with great jiujitsu in only his 2nd fight. Not saying he deserves a title shot against Couture already, but I'd hardly say he knows nothing about MMA. Kimbo, on the other hand, heh...Not so much, right? He won his first fight with a guillotine at least!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • Another great vid guys, I like the mixture of MMA/Pro Wrestling talk, personally I think you should do more MMA vids too. Anyways, I think Brock will beat Randy quite badly, also I don't know if you all know it or not but Kurt Angle was on the Bubba Love show the other day and saying he signed a deal to fight Randy Couture in 2009...or course this must be taken with a grain of salt as Kurt has been talking about his MMA debut for over 2 years, personally, I'd like to see him Nuder Puder :D

  • Thank you very much. I know some fans like us talking more about MMA, and a lot don't because they don't watch MMA(Their loss, but hey, that's their preference & if that's so, they can just skip the videos where we do, that's all). We'll definitely talk about more MMA when we can. But yeah, we've mentioned the potential Angle/Couture "grappling" match that I bet probably never happens, heh.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • sorry if that had nothing to do with the topic. hope u guys are doing good and cant wait for the next show

  • Thanks!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • i would like to see u guys do a show on the legendary owen hart. everyone loved owen hart i hope to see u guys do a show on him one day it would make lots of people happy including myself to see u guys discuss the legendary owen hart

  • If I want to get horribly depressed, heh. Maybe next year for the 10th anniversary :(

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • oh ok. and next year wwe should do a tribute on raw to him. by far he was one of the greatest human being's to ever live. just watching his biography bring's me to tears. i miss him so much. thank's for responding to me

  • Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was one of the greatest human beings to ever live. Einstein too. Owen Hart was just a great wrestler who happened to be a pretty good person, heh. I loved Owen, but I'd hardly call him one of the greatest hyman beings to ever live. That's billions of people he's better than and I don't remember him doing anything for a large number of people like, let's say, Ralph Nader, heh.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I like the WRESTLING ROUNDTABLE....U can keep ur MMA ROUNDTABLE guys, this is a bomb...

  • Well, we enjoyed it, and so did a lot of people (more than I expected, actually), so too bad you didn't like it. I'm glad you like the show, but we'll definitely be doing more Brock/MMA shows in the future, so you can skip those then. No one's making you watch anything.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • i fucking randy couture that old overrated bastard do you remember when he spanked tito and people thought it was funny um newsflash sakuraba did that to ryan gracie three years before couture did,i could care less for brock but i really would love to see him pound the shit out of couture like barnett and ricco did to him, couture would be lucky to get in the top 5 rankings as far as i am concerned, brock will maul couture for 5 rounds and nog will beat mir and then nog will triangle brock

  • Randy Couture is the only 5 time champion in UFC, the only to win a title after being inducted in their Hall Of Fame, the only to win both Heavyweight & Light Heavyweight championships, & is the oldest MMA champion ever at 44 no less. How is that overrated? Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he's not good. I hate Matt Hughes but he's a great fighter.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • he is overrated in the sense that the ufc hype him up to be the greatest in the world, when he beat gonzaga they said nobody could beat him he has a 16-8 record some of those losses were to no names, couture wpuld be lucky to get in the top 5 list of heavyweights in the world

  • I feel Coutoure has come a long way since his start in the UFC. He's one of the smartest fighters and has shown a lot in his comeback into the heavyweight division. I don't think everyone thinks he's the greatest in the world but he did beat Tim Sylvia who had a decent heavyweight title run. It'll be interesting to see how he does against someone with the skills of Big Nog.

    -Rodney, Wrestling Roundtable.

  • Of course they'd hype Couture up. He's beaten SO many top names(Liddel, Ortiz, Syliva, etc.) before they were over the hill, at his age, and with his records, I think he's earned his status. But I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • Lol, i really don't watch mma, so i pretty much just wasted my time wondering what you guys were on about.

  • Just like you wasted our time by us reading this :)

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • LOL, damn you ERIC and your quick wit.

  • I think Lawrence was right about MMA fans needing to get off their high horse.

Couture spanked Tito Ortiz in the middle of the fight. And Rashad and A. Silva like to dance and do the robot while dodging punches. And M. Ali gloated all the time during his fights.

I also agree with Brett, it was funny. I didn't really think "OH WWE STUFF COOL" but shit, he whipped an MMA vet in more than convincing fashion. Herring should've been laughed at for that performance.

  • Ok, all those guys you mentioned (Ortiz, Rashad, my favorite fighter Anderson Silva, Ali, etc.) could do that because they're established fighters. My point about that was we all knew, Brock most of all, how important it was for him to win this fight. With that in mind, he should have been concentrating on winning, not losing focus at all(That's what cost him the Mir fight, in a different way), save the gloating for AFTER the win. Maybe we he's 10-1 he can gloat during a fight, but not yet

    -E

  • The seniority rule?

C'mon. That's like trying to apply the social hierarchy from highschool to MMA.

  • Hey, if you think it's ok for him to have not been focused on Herring when the hometown crowd was chanting, "Les-nar!" bobbing his head instead of concentrating on winning an extremely important fight, fine. I don't. My point remains all those other fighters you mentioned, while they were in important fights also, weren't in the third fight in their career. It's got nothing to do with fuckin high school, but I guess experience means nothing in your world, so whatever

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I have to say, while I like watching your videos, when everyone is talking trying to make their point, it gets really annoying and just turns me off. There's no real solution, but it might be something everyone needs to keep in mind when filming the show. Let someone have their say and then express your opinion/retort.

Cheers to Derek for keeping it on track and being the one to reign everyone in.

  • Yeah, that Derek guy is awesome, heh. Thanks anyway. Yes, it'd be nice to not have everyone speaking over each other, but there's only so many times I can try to tell these goofs that, heh. Anyway, I try, sorry if it takes away from the show for you, but we do our best. At least I do.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • it sounds like dana white is smart kause he took brock lesnars fans an turned them n2 ufc fans by giving him a ufc "PUSH" lol 2 me thats smart marketing . n e ways great show..again

  • Thanks!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • can u imagine a kimbo vs brock.. iknow kimbo has 2 beat shamrock 1st

  • Brock would kill Kimbo.

  • maybe .but would u pay 2 see it?

  • Hell no I'd never pay for any UFC or MMA fight, I just feel I don't get my money's worth, esspecially if the match is over in seconds.

  • I think most fans HOPE the matches are over in seconds, heh. We want to see winners! Submissions, KOs, whatever it might be. Don't get me wrong, I love a good fight, and seeing a fight go to the limit can be great - depending on how well the fighters fight, of course - but I love MMA, so I'd definitely be down to pay for short matches with finishers. That's my money's worth for sure. Better than sitting through sitting Tim Syliva sitting on people for half an hour

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • Hmm got a point there. I mean I want them to end in KOs or Submissions but I don't want it to be one of those one hit things, because I know the entire youtube video of the fight would be drowned in "Lucky Punch" comments. Now if it ended in seconds with some good combos or some really nice take down that would be OK.

  • i hear ya bro dats why there is something called a sports bar..lol dats what i do.

  • block is a pretty descent mma fighter, but he definitely doesn't deserve a ufc title shot.

  • I agree on both counts, but Lawrence's points remind me of what Will Muney(Clint Eastwood) said in Unforgiven,"'Deserve' ain't got nothing to do with it."

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I agree with Rodney Brock is the new Tito Ortiz. That said I think COuture submits him in round 2

  • Nice to see you guys doing an MMA themed video. I've been a fan of the sport for tens years (almost as long as i've been a wrestling fan, strangely enough)

    Keep up the good work

  • Thank you very much! Yeah, all of us were intrigued when UFC first showed up on PPV in 93, and we watch other combat sports besides that too. I know for me, I'll watch boxing, sumo, amateur/Greco roman, karate, judo, jiujitsu, taekwando, etc. I find all of that fascinating and exciting, so it's great to see UFC become bigger & better in the last several years, and my following has increased along with it.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • I would actually like to see kimbo take on lesner, I mean two guys who got there MMA career going on good start plus the hype for it would be huge

  • I was at the last Kimbo fight against James Thompson, and boy was it awful. I was a huge Kimbo fan but that fight really exposed his lack of ground skill. He was very protected by Elite XC in that fight, cause it looked like it probably should have been stopped in the 2nd round when Thompson was pounding on him. That being said, and though they're both "outsiders" who went legit and had a lot of hype, I think Brock's in another league above Kimbo at the moment, but yeah, I'd like to see it!

    -E

  • E your very much correct on kimbo, elite xc does in fact put a huge favor on slice in his matches as well the crowd if he was to work on his ground tactics then maybe he'll have a chance on lesner if they would fight but, to if he was to fight Roy nelson or liddel he would be K.O.'ed in the first round that brings my next question who do you favor in Slice vs Shamrock my money is of course on the "WORLD'S MOST DANGEROUS MAN"

  • Well, many in UFC have said Kimbo would be eaten alive if he came there, and I agree, including Lesnar, heh. But, as for Shamrock/Kimbo, I would tend to think Shamrock b/c of his infinite more experience, but he's been schooled the last several years, not just against Ortiz, but in the first round against a newcomer with no name in his last fight. Kimbo is strong so I could see Shamrock eating a KO if he stands, but on the ground, Shamrock could "break his leg" like he claims. I call Kenny

    -E

  • Lesner needs to go away.

  • No way, he's got more potential than anyone in the heavyweight division in years. Of course, I'm not saying he could beat Noguiera or maybe even Couture, but a few years down the line, especially with his dedication and quick learning combined with his ridiculous speed & strength, Brock could be the standard someday

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • One thing is for sure (IMO), and that is that Lesnar needs to finish Couture as soon as posible.

Lesnar have an impressive power, and if he just go on and smash Couture and pound him, he have the chance to win.

    Awesome show, guys!!!

  • I totally agree Dark

  • Yeah, Brock cannot lay on Couture like he did on Herring. But, can he stand with him? Couture, let's remember, defeated Gonzaga after Gonzaga's amazing KO over Cro Cop, and he almost KO'd Tim Sylvia mere seconds in to the 1st round. Of course, Sylvia did typical Syvlia(laying around) after that, but Couture was still on the ground offensive there too, against huge Sylvia. So, should Lesnar stay on his feet against Couture, or shoot him, take him down and try to gound & pound Randy? Thanks!

    -E

  • Randy will humble that meathead punk

  • I'm pretty shocked by this, but most polls seem to slightly favor Brock, amazingly, but they're usually close

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • Brock Lesnar is a mental midget. He can't FINISH a match.

  • hes had 3 fights lol

  • And he should have won his first UFC fight. How in the fuck can you be a wrestler, and STAND OVER your opponent and just drag your leg over him, giving him an opportunity to make you tap. Brock went to college for wrestling and was a pro wrestler. He should know better, but he doesn't. That's why he is a mental midget. Stick with what got you there. Or is that too hard for you to understand, lexer.

  • yeah ull be eating humble pie come ufc 91 when he wins the championship

  • Humble pie? I'm a pro wrestler, I pull for Brock you idiot. The problem is that he's an idiot, and doesn't stick to what he knows. Why in the fuck would a wrestler tap out? That's part of his gameplan. He is a MENTAL MIDGET.

  • Lesnar lost concentration and made a 'rookie' mistake that he hated himself for doing. He just lost focus and paid for it. Yeah, watching it back it's very obvious Mir is setting him up for the heel hook the moment Lesnar stood up, but let's also not forget that Lesnar dominated, let's say 1:20 out of a 1:23 fight, heh (you know what I mean) against a former heavyweight champion in only his 2nd fight and 1st in a cage. That's pretty impressive.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • eh eh eh

  • brock lesnar will win in the first round at ufc 91

  • Very bold prediction.

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • OK I wached MMA years before WWE but I love WWE more than UFC or Dream I just do.Brock fight was a good fight Brock was dominant and he Owned but he could finisht that fight couple of times. But what pisses me off is that Erick told on the begining that he wanted more to talk about UFC than WWE whell a newsflash to ya your fucking show is called Wrestlig Roundtable so you shoud talk about WWE or rename you shout to UFC sqaretable.

Dont get me wrong I like UFC and love Brock Lesnar fights

  • waaaaaaaaa

    -E, Wrestling(oops, I mean UFC) Roundtable

  • That is my opinion and I respects yours.

    And that is UFC sqaretable.

  • Some cheese to go with your w(h)ine sir?

  • man, Brock owned this match, I remember the first few seconds I thought it would be over, that punch was sweet. I hope Brock continues to improve cause I will shell out the 50 bucks to watch his matches, they're worth it. Keep up the good video's guys.

  • That was such a great punch, just perfect form. Can you image being punched by a guy who used to toss around Big Show & Rikishi like they were nothing? Thanks!

    -E, Wrestling Roundtable

  • thanks for your comments you sent to me.and thank you guys for talking mma great as allways.

  • Thank you!
