i like it. it's a very good souvenir for all occasions... candle making is one of my business and i just put plastic sticker for the picture and its very expensive... where can i buy a heater?
amazing, u said all the information needed , i saw many videos and I was wondering oh i dont have that tool , should I use my hair drier, and u mentioned that, and I was also thinking of lighting the candle and whether that's safe or not, but u cover that too , its amazing, i might not do the candle stamping but just want to tell u ur video is perfectly done, and i like ur accent too :D
Thanks for the information and instructions. I wanted to get this done for my cousins wedding and thought I would have to pay high prices to get it done from this shop I went to...now I can just do it myself. Just one question can you use transparency paper the same way to put it on a candle in order to use a decorative silver candle?
Thanks for the tutorial. I have been wanting to make the photo candles for a while. In fact, I'm going to make them for a wedding display next week. You made it so easy to understand. I could show u some pics whenever I'll get the chance to you.
I tried this. i used a hot cooking pan and roll the candle with wax paper on it. (i'm cheap) It worked and looks great. just be careful and not to leave the fire on, because the candle will melt fast! Thanks for the idea!!!!!!
This is a great idea, thanks for showing how it is done. I have decorated candles before but haven't tried it with photographs. I sometimes buy my plain candles at Ikea I know you have them now in USA as we do in UK.
Thanks for an awesome tutorial. There was some chuckling on my part when you mentioned how hot it was... That has happened to me after heat embossing cards.
I want to do these so badly. I couldn't find reasonably priced regular white pillar candles. Even the dollar stores around me have gone to 'flameless.' I DID try a few of those, but it ended up peeling off shortly after.
Anyway, I saw another gal here putting santas on her candles, and she used tissue paper. Should I try that with the photos? Print them onto tissue paper instead of regular paper? What do you think?
Great idea. Deffinately going to do it for the holidays. To avoid burning yourself, cut wax paper wider than candle this way you have a better grip and you won't burn yourself.
