  • our choir sing this song i love it...

  • We should sing this song when it's time to offer... They will REALLY be CHEERFUL givers then

  • You can't beat God giving. But it is nice to know when you give (w/the right heart and mind) to Him, He will ALWAYS supercede your needs and allow you to be a blessing to someone else. And because of your giving, He'll bless you yet again...told ya you can't beat Him but you can take on a life like Him. Glory to God.

  • wooow we sing this on stage at our church and i love to praise the yea sing it .......... :)

  • The praise team at my church sang this today for the first time... it was awesome... I love how we can sing about giving back to God so many people fall short when it comes to this because they associate it with giving to the church... the church is where your physically giving BUT you are giving to GOD who is all that matters because the church can't bless you only HE can and HE will!! Blessings Running Over!!!

  • WHEW!!!!! MKS-20 E. Piano 2...come on somebody!!!!

  • BLESSING RUNNING OVER . SO TRUE. U GOT TO BELIEVE IT WILL HAPPEN. LOVE THIS SONG. WE SING AT OUR CHURCH. ...JJ

  • We had a GREAT TIME recording this. A GREAT Joe Pace moment!

  • just injoy this great praise song and not make it about whos right or wrong u are missing the point of the song give what you have money or fruit as long as you give what u have cheerfully god will bless praise god

  • Tithing its one of those things that you shouldnt bash until you try . and God will give it back to you in some way , pressed down shacken together and running over I'v tithe 4 5year& God meets every need I have You dont have to pay for your blessings.God doesnt need your money. He needs you to trust him. When you tithe you are saying I dont know how you are gonna do it Lord u r able. Just speaking from personal experience

  • God gives to us because we need it, not bcz we first pay him.

  • wonderful song

  • they sing this for offering at my church, and i love it. but heck i didnt know it was a real song! lol our music director has a tendency to write his own songs and make the choirs sing those instead

  • This song will always remind me of my late Pastor Eld. Shy. He loved this song so much we would have it on repeat in the car on the way home from church...then he made it our offertory song!!! I miss him so much!!!

  • Great offering song!

  • the first time i heard this the song the first friday choir in vallejo, ca sang it... and its a SLAPPER!!!!!!!

  • the pastor of my church will say its time for offering but the musicians will already have started playing this song and we be jammin not even payin attention to him!! (our choir doesn't stay on stage)

  • hello. it has been buried & forgotten , that we are not required to give until we have abundance. no one is obligated to give out of their lack or poverty.

  • u r so wrong! This is exactly what God wants us to do. Think about it now if you were hungry and someone only had enough for two days of food for themselves would you not want him to bless you with something to eat? I would and his act of giving is a sacrifice. He will be blessed in abundance! Let the church say Amen.

  • explain, because the widow who baked bread for the prophet would disagree...if you mean people who have no unction from the Holy Ghost to give I agree, however I truly believe FAITH move faster than a check

  • that was a one-time incident, 1 thing that the prophet was directed to do -- it's not doctrine, it's not a consistent teaching throughout the Bible.

Deut 16:17 "Every man shall give as he is ABLE, according to the blessing of the

L rd thy God which he hath given thee."

The new testament upholds this teaching. If you are not yet blessed with enough to cover all your own needs, then you are not required to give.

  • I agree sir, however I don't believe in talking crazy about or belittling the faith of others...how about Sarah..The bible tells us to be cheerful givers and not to give under duress...there is nothing wrong with people giving as the spirit leads,...the New Testament church was builkt on ALL people giving and selling to be common and have all thing in common

  • true, but most pleas for money ARE duress. They pound & pound on the subject & batter even poor people to feel guilty if they don't give.

In the NT church the rich sold their property to support ALL the expenses of single mothers and widows--today no church does that; they use the money for a pretty car for the pastor, and violin lessons for his children, & a nicely furnished house, paid for by the poor. That's backwards &evil.

  • My brother or sister...Church hurt is a bogga!!! My pastor drives a Hummer (paid cash) and is well off because she worked hard using her PhD she doesn't accept a salary...my dad is a pastor and he does well because he works hard...my former Pastor gets a stipend from the church because he built a well oiled machine...everyone is not a crook the blanket statements you make fuel ignorance about ministry..it is wrong to manipulate people into giving, however it's dangerous to

  • it is evil for people to rob the saints, however i have made up my mind to sow into good seed and pray that whatever i give would be used to upbuild His Kingdom!!

  • your pastor & your dad are an exception & something rare. most pastors fit my description.

    Sister A.

  • Sis A: Ques. How many of the tens of thousands of pastors do you know personally that you can make such a definitive statement? We all must be careful about passing on our personal hurts and grievances to others. Consistent giving out of lack and much is one of the most constant principles in scripture. 2Cor.9:8, 1Cor. 8:1-2, 8:12, Lk. 6:38, Phil. 4:10-19.

Don't be tricked, always Study the whole council of God. Tithing is a principle not a command. Abraham tithed 400 yrs b4 the law. Heb 7:2-4

  • @LICCF

Friend, Abraham Never tithed on his own personal property or livestock, but only the best of the booty taken in war, only once.. Only levites were authorized to accept tithes, no one else! your scptr ref's say nothing about giving out of poverty.

  • Comin in late in this convo, but I will add that, God don't expect us to give what we don't have. He wants to handle our bills and pay our tithes. God's blessings only cost our obedience. I do hate offeratory auctions though. Have the offering and thats it. all that beggin, does saturate the moce of the spirit

  • well, it's also buried & forgotten that tithes were ONLY payable to the Levites, & money was NEVER tithable.

So unless you are a son of Aaron doing the service of animal killing in the temple, then you are not to collect tithes!

Also, G d commanded that tithes be converted to money ONLY for the purpose of having yourself a celebration feast.

Tithing is not applicable to christians.

  • what scripture do you have for this???

  • The book of Levitcus, the whole New Testament, Heb 7:5 "And verily THEY THATare of the SONS OF LEVI [ONLY!],

who receive the office of the priesthood, HAVE A COMMANDMENT to take tithes of the people according to the law". NO one else.

    im not yelling, just emphasizing.

  • Your statement was that money was not tithable. What scripture do you have for that.

Hebrews 7:6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.

It wasn't only the Levites if in the next scripture it states that Melchisedec received tithes of Abraham.

  • Leviticus 27:30-33--Tithe was produce or beasts only, not money.

And Melchisidec died hundreds of years before the Levites came, so he's gone; it was a one-time thing.

& tithe was the tenth tenth, not the first tenth.>>Israel never tithed from their poverty, but on their INCREASE. >Deut 26:12

  • da congregation sang dis during erry offering, at my old church. I lyke dis sowng!!!

  • i just wanna hear enter in thats my song but its not on here

  • Joe Pace is truly gifted. When you give unto the Lord he will give you more. Give weak, receive weak, Give over abundantly, Receive overabundantly!!! Amen... He will give you more. It's not all about the how much you give either, it's about your spirit to give... Faith is the substance.

  • this sonq is stuck in ma head every sunday after church.
