I guess you just have to talk to me like I'm 12 because I still dont get it. The wick is at the bottom of the stove, how can it stop anything from coming out of the top?
Sorry i assumed you were talking about the internal wick. The wick bonded to the base of the stove is needed because this stove has a thick wall and does not preheat well by itself
oh... I had no idea that there was a wick on the inside of the stove. I guess I didnt see that in the video. Now its all coming together, lol. Thanks I looked on your web site and didnt see any of these magic mouse stoves for sale. Did'nt they sell very well? Is that why you pulled them?
Like many of the MBD stoves this design sold well until the inner circle all had one and then sales were patchy --I discontinued it because it was not a regular seller and i had issues with it being very tippy
I can see how it would be tippy. I use a whitebox stove and its not really what I wont to use with a hini pot. It sticks to the inside of the sometime?
Groovy movie (and stove)! You must lie awake at night thinking these things up!
To prime this one, could you "over fill" it a bit and the fuel would run out the burn holes and down to the wick? Not a big difference, but might keep fuel from getting all over what ever surface you're on. I guess only a gram weenie would be worried about that much spillage...
i love ur videos i watch alot of them. this stove is gr8 i wonder how much it cost to send 1 to me in canada? thx karen

What stove fuels will last longest when shelved? I assume alcohol is a good choice, but we all know what assuming does, ugh.

make it work with just air and you have yourself a stove

2 things: 1st: what are you using for the wick
2nd: what fuel are you using?
survivalist911 2 years ago
since its a single wall stove why do you need a wick?

So when you tip it over the fuel won't spill---old stove builders trick.

That is, in my opinion, your best stove yet. Lately you've just been cranking out new designs.
