I have same version of kubuntu and i cant seem to get chrome to work =/ its installed but it just crashes when i try to launch it =/

on my system google chrome is working great. i use it as a default browser. how did you install it?

i would and i am using it right now :)

it's based on chromium which is an open source project so it's much more open than opera. and people use opera on linux too.

to me it doesnt make sense, WHY would anyone that uses Unix then run something as prying and intrusive as go0gle are??? Theyre way worse than m$ and go0gle lacks backbone, they bent over like biatches for the dictatorship in china, go0gle is never to be trusted

i did, it sure sounds promising, and if not anything its THE site to point to when it comes to all of go0gles intrusive, datacolelcting and tracing bs behaviour, thanks for the tip, ill prob try it :-)
