Michael, I am a beginner with dslr. I am trying to decide on a first dslr camera and I am leaning toward a Canon Rebel. I want to be able to take kid sports pictures but nothing very fancy; just capture good shots in motion. Does the T3i allow for this opportunity? Is the swivel feature of the T3i worth the extra money? Fo an entry level camera would you go with the T2i or the T3i?
i just got ONE question and if you can answer it right here thatd be awesome! i've been looking forever for someone that could answer my question. Okay i take pictures with a tripod with a timer and i focus the camera then move in front of it and when it take the picture it comes out blurry WHY?! please reply THANKS!
Hello Michael, I have a Canon 30d and I'm surprise that there isn't any tutorials on this particular camera and also on my Canon 550ex flash. Is there a place where i can learn more about my equipment? Thanks Frank Aguilera.......
I don't have a digital SLR, but I do have an HD camcorder. Your tutorials are providing a wealth of information which is applicable to camcorder newbies, too. I had been wondering what the "v" stood for in Av and Tv :)
Thanks so much for your professional approach in presenting these videos.
Thank you Michael for your passion to give back to others. I am so glad I found your video and your forum. As a beginner it has helped me by leaps and bounds. Your teaching is perfect and I would not change a thing other than do more. Thank you 10 times over.
Michael, thank you so much for all you do. Your free online photography school is awesome and your forum is out of this world.
The people/members of the forum are so knowledgable and it is blowing my mind how generous they are with sharing their photography skills. When I bought my first digital SLR in July '08, I was quite overwhelmed. I have learned sooo much, I can't begin to explain how helpful the forum, the school and your photography crash course DVD have been.
I have learned quite a bit of info re: my Canon EOS via your tutorials and find your website to be wonderful and joined in. Thanks and keep up the great work!
hi michael, i have been really enjoying your tutorials. very clear and easy to follow. i have just bought the canon eos 450d and i am trying to get to grips with it. i bought it particularly to take photos at a dance party. i have been experimenting using the sport mode with the continuous shooting setting but all the photos are coming out blurred. i wonder if you might have any idea about that. i look forward to your reply and thanks again for your excellent videos, jj

@xVegax1 Because you are moving and using a long shutter speed.
MichaelTheMentor 1 year ago
@xVegax1 I shoot outside so my shutter speed is pretty fast. Is it my focus settings? I use single-shot or automatic.
