  • RESPECT!

  • Germans are such evil bastards.

  • @LordAkira I believe that scene was in Switzerland or Austria, not Germany

  • I get moist just thinking about this scene.

  • @ThisVideoGetsMeMoist Love your channel!

  • Does anyone know what theme is playing during this classic clip? The theme also appeared in the second song you hear during the awesome Oktoberfest scenes. I've always wondered since whenever I think of Germany, I think of this soundtrack. Please post if you know. Thanks so much! Vielen Dank!

  • Classic. I'd always assumed that Graham Stark was in it - but apparently not. Minkey!

  • @AshleyMarkPomeroy No, tell a lie - the IMDB lists "Harold Berens" in the role, but says that his scenes were deleted. So presumably Stark filled in later on. I wonder why?

  • a reum?

  • Does your dug uh bat?

  • 1 word to sum up peter sellers.... GENIUS

  • Here's the question, who is funnier in this scene, Clouseau or the Hotel Manager person?

  • Ahhh, _the_ definite Inspector Clouseau

  • 33 people have been bitten by a dog that they thought was a dog that they were told didn't bite !

  • I know this is a very old joke that people still tell today... but I'm trying to figure out if the scene was inspired by the joke, or did the joke evolve out of this scene.

  • 33 people don't get brilliant and intelligent sense of humor

  • This is classic comedy!

  • its my dog

  • Damn Commercials!

  • the best comedian of all time!

  • I loved the Pink Panther movies. Peter Sellers really brought slapstick comedy back with the series of movies. I still laugh when I watch them and I have seen them several times.

  • spoiler : it is not MY dog

  • the crappiest joke ive ever heard.

  • what pink panther movie is this?

  • @zackhoe1978 the second one, i believe its called "the pink panther strikes again" or something along those lines

  • @Danasher96 ...which is actually the fourth one.

  • bom filmee!!

  • Does your derg biet?

  • Zaat is not my dooooog

  • The master!

  • petter sellery is great but steve martin aint that bad

  • @doctorhaw Steve Martin destoyed 3 classics, Clouseau, Sergeant Bilko and The School for scoundrels!!

  • sucks, peter seller's wprk is very underrated. shame he got really tired of playing this role as inspector cluseau. he was never really a comedian, though he played it like a pro

  • it's quite cool that albert einstein managed to find acting work after being a physicist.

  • that is a fag on the ad.

  • That is not my dog!! lol

  • Steve martin is rubbish and peter Sellers rules.

  • @naifgobory you have impeccable taste. Sellers was genius as the karate chopping lunatic with the thick trimmed moustache. poor cato and dreyfus. :)

  • @naifgobory What about Roberto Benigni ?

  • "Hi, deug!"

  • @churp67 man you killed me

  • Gotta love the pipe

  • a zima

  • i forget, is this from the first pink panther, or one of the sequels?

  • @cubbiefan26 Return of the Pink Panther. I myself beleive it was his best. Still belly laugh from start to finish.

  • @cubbiefan26 This is from the pink panther strikes again

  • duz yer derg baight?

    no

    ahhh, good derggie

  • XD that is not dock XD

  • That is what I have been saying, you idiot!

  • Did Blake Edwards have anything to do with "The Pink Panther"?

  • One of the best bits from all the Pink Panther movies!

  • Excellent timing. Laugh? I nearly sh*t! Sellers was great, Steve Martin too. Thanks for both of them. I loved Steve in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels making a hilarious comic team with Michael Caine. But I think his Clouseau was arguably not quite as funny as Sellers, but still great comedy.

  • tell me, do you have a reum?

    LOL

  • Steve Martin is a good comic, but, nothing compared to the Master, Peter Sellers.

Regarding the comment by..coolhandflukey, I agree with his sarcasm about the remake of the Thomas Crown Affair with Rene Russo and Pierce Brossnan.

You can't redo world class movies made with actors like Steve Mcqueen and Faye Dunaway. Mcqueen is my favorite all time actor. Dunaway sizzles with her sexy eyes.

  • I see there's people thinking Steve Martin did a better Job than Sellers ...

don't blame them, they probably also think that "The Thomas Crown Affair" is a 1999 Film with Rene Russo and Pierce Brossnan ...

  • Does your diug baht?

  • What's he smoking in that pipe?

  • whaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha

  • The Octoberfest music in the back is hilarious.

  • @gregorymark75 Would you happen to know which Oktoberfest theme this is?

  • @Oliverfilm5 steve martin went downhill after 'the jerk'

  • @TheAnxiousMan wtf does being american have to do with it? Im american and my some of my favorite movies are the peter sellers pink panther movies

  • @hungeredone That was aimed at Oliverfilm not you

  • @TheAnxiousMan well then just call him a twat or some shit, dont bring that american shit into it

  • @Oliverfilm5

    Youre a troll no doubts

  • Proffesor Gigabyte looks a little bit like Einstein.

  • You know usually I would be angry at the ads but this time I'm... IT'S FUCKING SHARK WEEK

  • AND SHAME ON DICK HEAD MARTIN TO THINK HE COULD REMAKE THIS..HE SHOULD BE ASSHAMED OF HIM SELF.

  • Bahahahahahahahaha

  • lol this made me laugh, is it me, or are the keys grenade looking?

  • *boom tish* hahaha brilliant

  • I agree with Sky Amber7. Clean comedy lasts forever. Trash dies.

  • CLASSIC!!

  • the dog was even brilliant :D

  • I thought you said your deuug didn't bite?, zet is not my dog. LOL

  • @MrDeano324 dogs point of view

*sees man* "does your deuurg bite?"........"good deuurgeh"

  • how did they get the dog to be SO VICIOUS

  • duz jur dug baet ?

  • Does your deuug bite?

  • That is not my dock! Cuckoo, cuckoo

  • Comment removed

  • that is not my dog

  • Zat iz not mah dog.

  • old man is a smart-ass

  • Sellers was brilliant, irrespective of the character he was portraying. I can't understand how they got through the scenes without breaking down with laughter.

  • Laughed so hard Im crying

  • This is why you have to be careful to ask the RIGHT question!

  • "That is not my dog..."

  • Lots of subtle humor in this scene. Like when Clouseau, a Frenchman, comes in and tries his best to speak German: "Guten tag". And the guy says "Good day" (which is English for "Guten tag"). Then when he says "room" (or r-uuuh-m) the guy doesn't understand him, so he reverts back to German ("zimmer"). The only thing I don't like about this scene is that the innkeeper could have been a little bit more emphatic when he said "No" (that his dog doesn't bite).

  • oh shut the fuck up ads.

  • this is my dads favorite part :D

  • He obviously meant, "Does THIS dog bite?" lol.

  • I hate this stupid commercials.

  • HAHAHAH!

  • That is not me doug...

  • whatta beauty!

  • IN SANE! That's all I have to say.

  • They put marijuana in the old man's pipe; true story; that's why he is moving so slowly. If I made this movie, I would have had Sellers open the dictionary more toward the end of the book. He opened it too early for either "room" or "zimmer."

  • @watutman

Its true about the marijuana. ApparantleyThats why they purposly cocked it up so he would be more stoned.

  • "Zet eez net ma dawg!"

  • I ham Gig Gabra..LOL

  • huh? i remember this line with a beautiful blonde at a bus stop, anyone else remember? i was wondering if it was ursula andress who said "that's not my dog".

  • Absolutely classic. So funny,... i laughed until i hurt when i watched this for the first time!

  • K9leashes dot CO/\/\ ... Great for aggressive dogs and human saftey!!

  • Stevie Marin can never copy Peter Sellers the one and only Pink Panther.

  • Isn't there another one in a park? Same sketch but different scene, dog, etc.?

  • Is it just me or did Tommy Wissau become a much better actor in this version of the flower shop scene?

  • Funny :)

  • ediooot!!!

  • I've always loved this movie.

  • @AshleyMarkPomeroy True true!! :D

  • Along with the Monty Python fish-slapping sketch, there's something fundamental about this scene. You could use it as a way of testing whether a person is human; if they don't laugh, they're a Terminator or a Replicant or what-have-you.

  • This would be stupid, if it wasn't so damn funny.

  • 26 peoples dogs did bite

  • Where is the one with Cato as the japanese waitress???

  • 26 people must have been bit by a dog....or they are German

  • Zat ees nout my doug! lolz! fantastic man.

  • So true! poor loveable Inspector Closeau, or should I say Inspector Clueless!

  • :20, "I do not know what a RRRm is."

  • Dat is nout my dog!

  • Love this one. :D I do however remember him trying do bribe the bell-boy by saying: Would you like to become a bell-man?

    hehe.. both are funny!

  • Love this one. :D I do however remember him trying do bribe the bell-boy by saying: How would you like to become a bell-man?

    hehe.. both are funny!

  • Love this one. I do however remember him trying do bribe the bell-boy by saying: How would you like to become a bell-man

  • "Do you have a reuuum?"

  • This was the best part of the movie!

  • no he was ok

  • no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no to bloody adverts on youtube

  • I want a reum!

  • I LOVE IT reminds me when Daddy and I would laugh our heads Off LOL Where is the one with the melting nose ?he was a so called dentist !! LOL

  • I LOVE IT reminds me when Daddy and I would laugh our heads Off LOL

  • The greatest revival of an old joke of all time.

  • Peter Sellers was a genius. Steve Martin failed hard

  • Comment removed

  • Peter was too much LOL

  • '' That is not my dog '' XD

  • This is what you call timeless, classic comedy! No sex, tasteless jokes, or laughter at another persons expense.

  • @SkyAmber7

That's what YOU call comedy. Funny is subjective my friend.

  • @SkyAmber7 , sex is good

  • @ToolsnFire certainly!

  • @SkyAmber7 but we're always laughing at Inspector Clouseau's expense.

  • @SkyAmber7 yeah, you r right!

  • @SkyAmber7 true!

  • @SkyAmber7

Well, no one's expense but Clouseau...

  • @SkyAmber7 No sex? what is wrong with that

  • @SkyAmber7 Which isn't to say that sex, tasteless jokes, and laughter at another persons expense can't be funny.

  • @SkyAmber7 but all of the jokes are at clouseau expense :/

  • @SkyAmber7 how is this not laughing at another persons expense? :D

  • @Oliverfilm5 Are you guys serious? Watch Lolita and Dr Strangelove...........Peter Sellers wasn't just a comedian, he was arguably the greatest actor to ever have lived......

  • @JonnyCashmore and Being There

  • @JonnyCashmore don't forget Being There, where he played Chauncey the gardener :))

  • @Rawego "Being There", was a masterpiece! You are so right!

  • @JonnyCashmore He was certainly the greatest comedic actor of all time, hands down! At least, I've never come across another who could equal him. I miss him.

  • @JonnyCashmore legendary scene...legendary movie, a true genius..nice doggie...

  • "That is what I have been saying, you idiot..."

  • @fahqmein I use this line all the time with my wife, except I leave off the "you idiot" part. I do it with the Inspector Clouseau accent. I also frequently use the line "the case is solve-idd".

  • all time classic

  • i'm crying I'm laughing so hard.

  • classic joke and excellently performed by Mr. Sellers. Mr. Martin could not and have not executed Clouseau as well as Mr. Sellers. The producers should have found a better and funnier actor to play in the Pink Panther movies.

  • @ttorres89 I think they shouldn't have been remade. Just re-release the originals for new generations to see on the big screen. But studios never do that, unless it is for 1 night only or a 25th anniversary of a film. Another film remake that should have never been was "The Truth About Charlie." The original "Charade" is my favorite movie, hard to beat a combination of Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn.

  • Does your deaug bite?

  • It's a great joke done with great timing.

All Steve Martin did was the bad Clouseau impression that people who aren't funny do. It's just he managed to get paid for it.

  • I wonder how they made the dog bite the hand so ferociously...
