the same in my ENGLISH school... but we would get sent home for not talking properly to the teacher and for the improper footwear... we must have all black shoes, NO other colour... not even a white sole and NO heels... completely fflat!!

Memory of this alone is sufficient to keep me away from Japan as long as possible. I hate the idea of going back to Japan.
