Kinda weird that it goes in to a more realistic, undoubtedly Americanized, western comic book artstyle for the opening credits. It seems so out of place, but it's really cool, nonetheless. It's almost like what western cartoons would look like if we actually gave a shit about appealing to adult audiences over here.

@figocooldude Yes. Hiroyuki Okiura. I'm aware. The same guy that worked on the Ghost in the Shell movies and directed Jin Roh. Even though all of his work is ultra realistic, he was obviously going for an American look here. Giving a shout out to the English dub with all the American voice actors appearing in cartoon form.
