I love Becquet's heavy and mellow sound. Distinct from my other favorite players Joe Alessi and Christian Lindberg. May be it has to do something with French music and his nationality.

Have you felt how heavy that horn he plays is? its almost as heavy as a euphonium. That weight really darkens up his sound. I agree its one of the best out there.

ahh the swan is a beautiful song...morceau symphonique on the other hand...im tired of it it was our state band audition music for kansas...but somehow i got 2nd chair trombone haha

I don't quite agree with that breath he took right before the high note. I love his sound though. Incredibly beautiful.
