i liked it, it made me think..maybe thats why i acted out the way i did when i was consuming alcohol. i'm only 30, i'm finally thinking clear and focusing on breaking the cycle for my children. I'm healing now.. I was just clicking anything and bent down to pick something up, when I came back up this was playing. I've never owned a slave or persecuted any race or taken their land, nor did my ancestors. ( early irish immigrants were treated just as poorly as those of asian & african decent)

Every since I began grade school in the early-70's, and was taught the sanctioned, cleaned-up version of US History, I was puzzled and disturbed by the contradictions between our "glorious Nation's founding, with Liberty and Freedom for all" and what my father told me about our Ancestor's horrible treatment of the Peoples originally inhabiting America. And then we had put their images on coin, as if to honor them, when in truth they were treated like animals, and continue to suffer.

Excellent theme in this video. The point of Native Americans not having their own culture properly taught to them, such as the history, language, so on.. It's all a real shame. I am 1/4th Caribbean Taíno, a tribe now as good as extinct, as there are none of us who are full blooded. I take great pride in my Cuban-Indian heritage, and not being able to learn the language and know the history, that's something you won't understand if it's not in your blood. Rate 5

However, I am new to the Lakota tribe and from this video I wish I had more information about the Lakota and this school.
