Isn't it true that you have to change your skin care products regualrly because your skin could get used to it and build up an immunity against the product?
i use alot of expensive stuff but my skin is nothing close to "beautiful"
i have a really bad habit of picking at my skin, i know im not suppost to cause it makes it worse, but i cant help it when the bumps are there and i can make them smaller. its all so frustrating :( and i spend most of my money on my skin for minimal results.
@ComeToMyCupcakeParty Went through that loads of times. Each time I try a really expensive set of products, I regret it. Only a dermatologist has been able to "cure" my acne. Just remember, you need to be consistent with the products that the dermatologist gives and go back for consultations regularly. It's okay, you'll get through it. :)
@ComeToMyCupcakeParty het i got tablets i forget the name of them but they got rid of my acne fast but i must warn you they dry the skin out but they get rid of acne and you can always rehydrate skin
great help thank you so much! i dont like using suncreen in my daily routine because i find that i already layer moisterisor underneath my makeup if i add suncreen to it would just add too much layering... how do i effectively apply suncreen without looking like i have to much product on my skin
My face gets very oily fast, but I also have bad acne and the acne is always dry and peeling. So would that be combination? When I use moisturizers for oily skin then the dry spots look worse and if I use moisturizers for dry skin then my face looks sweaty and wet.
i drink green tea every night, which is very high in antioxidants. do i still have to apply antioxidants to my skin? or does drinking green tea help the skin?
Wow!! Doctor I must say I am loving you and your channel. I have really learned some many things that I was not aware of. I love your channel, its extremely informative.
i wash well- moisturize with c esters-all makeup has 20 sun screen in it-- the products work well my skin- for 53 i am not to bad as far a lines and wrinkles- its my forehead- that wont exfoliate as well as the rest of my face- is this normal and is there a home use product i can use for this? thank you! shelly ps-- wonderful vidoes very educational
@hanjhun08 I actually posted an episode about chicken skin (also known as Keratosis Pilaris). Just search for "Chicken Skin" and "DermTV" and it should be the first video listed.
I have a wheatish complexion. When I first started shaving my facial hairs (the beard and moustache area), my skin in that area turned much darker. I follow the proper shaving techniques and use good skin care products (Lab series razor burn relief), cleanser, toner and moisturizer with SPF-15 as a daily practice. However, nothing makes it lighten back to its original color. I was advised by a derm to shave gently and avoid exposure to the Sun. I am never out in the Sun! Could you please help?
The best exfoliant for me is corn meal... I get compliments on my glowing skin becoz of it. Just simple yellow or white cornmeal with water as an exfoliant 4 times a week... Try it ppl:)
I"m bad about using exfoliants. It's only recently i realized it was necessary and i have some but i'll jump in the bath and wash my face and be like whoops, i forgot to get the exfoliant and be like oh well, next time. But i'm going to make sure i get it out next time. It's only a few months ago i knew it was necessary.
smoking is horrible for you and damages skin, but some people actually believe it's worse than the sun which is not true. I can't believe people actually think this. You get wrinkles way faster from tanning than from smoking. I"m 30 and just ordered e cigarettes, never tan, no wrinkles, and smoked since i was 17. I am going to quit with e cigarettes, but i see people that get in the sun all the time and they have way worse skin problems than me, same age as me.
Oh and i dont say this to say smoking is good, it just amazes me when someone is doing everything right but lays in the sun non stop. (some sun is good i think)
@Quiteinfamous Everyone should get an annual skin cancer screening exam from a dermatologist, but other than that it's if you need help with something.
