  • That's some nice physics. :-)

  • wow amazing!

  • Balldroids works well on flat surfaces.. try to put it in a hole and see what happens.. so no planetexploring.. ;)

Good fun concept thoug.. office droid as hallway messenger? =)

  • @Moronicsmurf

spherical robot climbing out of a hole

    watch?v=OWkK-o4Vq-A

  • But.. will it blend?

  • @hapklaar ya

  • @hapklaar what does that even mean in the first place? :/

  • @hapklaar Roses are red,

    Violets are blue,

    That comment is old

    Fuck you.

  • Hamster- balls aren't good for the animals because they are very stresst when they are in that ball, and then they have a bad life.

  • how did u get ur hamster into it

  • How did you make this?? I want to make one!!!

  • Hey, I'll bet you didn't know: this essentially IS being developed for use on: MARS u reasoned like an astronomer-robotbuilder-exoecostic explored person. Good for you. The real model is about 16lb and about a foot tall. It uses the same movement and turning thingy as yours, but has 2 cameras at the end of the rod thingy. Where did u get the ball.

  • @randyooo54

its also being developed as an all terrain security camera

watch it on discovery channel, as its full of Air inside it can float on water and go anywhere

they started using a concept close to this in airports

  • funny how they use the computer which is the most important part of this kit as the weight to control the steering.

  • how send you with that? how the fuck make you turnings

  • the NXT tips, tilting the ball. It reacts much like when a rolling coin starts to fall over to one side.

  • where to download lego mindstorms NXT program

  • geniaaal!!! :D

  • the only problem to this design is that it doesn't have much torque. Torque is important to get over bumps and rocks in its path. This robots only torque is the weight under the robot.

Don't get me wrong, this was amazing. I have one more question. Does it sense for blockage and change directions if it does?

  • Creative!

  • Definativly something to look into on futer space ventures, good thinking!

  • Good Idea

  • lol funny :P
