Being away from my amazing little hometown has made me realize how much I love living there.

I am so incredibly proud of my roots, and I know I can always go back to Bruges and feel at home, no matter how long I've been gone. And I promise you, whoever visits Bruges will not be dissapointed.

@flashingheadlights Last year a friend and i backpacked a few places in Europe ( We`re Canadian by the way). Bruges was awsome! You`re so right when you say whoever visits will not be disappointed. It was one stop on our travels we wish we took more time for!! Very beautiful and people very friendly. I will always remember a little lady stopping us on a street and spoke in another language then said welcome to Belgium. You have a charming city! Lot`s of Love from Canada!! :)

We have so much wonderful cities in Europe (and no trailer parks ...!), but it is hard to say which town is the most beautiful. I am almost shore it's Bruges, we were there last week. A dream.

This ciy is beautiful and even better by night, to be honest when i went there, i thought it beautiful but nothing special, there is more beautiful places in belgium that are unknown to foreign tourists.

I'll tell you guys a secret... If you want to visit Bruges but could do without all the tourist and accompanying tourist traps... Go to Gent/Ghent!

@od1do10 Yeah, ofcourse, if you visit Bruges, and you wanna see the sea too, you have to visit Ostend, it's really close to Bruges, it's a city, with enough nightlife, if you don't think it's enough, you have to go to Ghent, great nightlife, you can also reach it by train, if you don't think Ghent is enough, go to Antwerp (club Noxx) or Leuven, or Brussels ofcourse! It's all so close to eachother, it's nice to live in such a small country, everything is sooo close to each other!

@BelgiumsBiggestU2Fan I asked this a few days before the trip. We went to Belgium last month, first we got to Brussels, stayed there a night and then next morning went to Bruges. It's funny and amazing at the same time, fact that you immediately fall in love with Bruges by walking down the streets. I couldnt help it, the smile was on my face all the time

I just love this city! I was there visiting some nice friends aproximately three weeks ago and the city stunned me with its beauty. It even stunned me so much that I will return to it in late june this year. Wonderful city, everyone should have seen it once at least:)
