For those who are wondering why the Chief has a pistol and not the Assault Rifle its because he didnt have the time to take it, he just took cortana and moved on and then he found the pistol just floating around. You can clearly see at 1:02 that there are many pistols floating there.

I think everyone is forgetting a grave threat. They gave us the galaxy and look at what we did. We unleashed the flood and destroyed two of their installations. I think the forerunner might be a tad pissed off at how we treated the gift of life.

I had played every Halo game but Reach when my Xbox broke. I bought a PS3 and for a long time considered buying a cheap 360 to play Reach and finish the Halo series. Now, I don't even care. Now, one of the only good FPS's ever is being sold out to become the new Final Fantasy: it just won't end. I wish Bungie had just laid the Halo series to rest instead of selling it out and selling my respect along with it.
@utfrts39sk Ummm, first of all, the name of the company is Bungie, and second of all they didn't disband. Bungie gave up on the halo series because they were sick of what Microsoft was doing to them and how they were treating their IT. Bungie is still alive and well, they are just doing different projects. They left Microsoft after signing contracts saying Microsoft owns Halo. Now Bungie is working with Activision and retaining all IT on future projects, but Bungie is definately not gone...

@claygate42 The flood? As we never really saw them 'die.' Plus, that wasn't the entire Covenant fleet on Earth. Go back to H2, one of the marines(Possibly Cortana or Hood, don't remember) said that the Covenant fleet attacking was no where near the size of the one that attacked Reach. So the Covenant is mostly gone, not entirely though. Plus, the UNSC never attacked the Covenant's home worlds, so there are , of course, still more.
hopefully theyll add a beta for xbox before this game comes out

@puffballandres Dude look in the back of Halo 3 in White Bold letters it says, The Stunning Conclusion to the Halo Trilogy. And dude Reach wasnt part of the origional Halo story line, it took place in there somewhere but not actually in the original storyline. So i think it would just be stupid to make a 4th and if they do dont call it 4 cuz it was a trilogy lol. They should call it something else like they did with Reach. & the Jetpack thing idk whats up with that lol.

For those who are wondering why the Chief has a pistol and not the Assault Rifle its because he didnt have the time to take it, he just took cortana and moved on and then he found the pistol just floating around. You can clearly see at 1:02 that there are many pistols floating there.

I had played every Halo game but Reach when my Xbox broke. I bought a PS3 and for a long time considered buying a cheap 360 to play Reach and finish the Halo series. Now, I don't even care. Now, one of the only good FPS's ever is being sold out to become the new Final Fantasy: it just won't end. I wish Bungie had just laid the Halo series to rest instead of selling it out and selling my respect along with it.

@utfrts39sk Ummm, first of all, the name of the company is Bungie, and second of all they didn't disband. Bungie gave up on the halo series because they were sick of what Microsoft was doing to them and how they were treating their IT. Bungie is still alive and well, they are just doing different projects. They left Microsoft after signing contracts saying Microsoft owns Halo. Now Bungie is working with Activision and retaining all IT on future projects, but Bungie is definately not gone...

@claygate42 The flood? As we never really saw them 'die.' Plus, that wasn't the entire Covenant fleet on Earth. Go back to H2, one of the marines(Possibly Cortana or Hood, don't remember) said that the Covenant fleet attacking was no where near the size of the one that attacked Reach. So the Covenant is mostly gone, not entirely though. Plus, the UNSC never attacked the Covenant's home worlds, so there are , of course, still more.
