Fellow Purchase mate! I graduated from the Dramatic Writing program last year. Shot a couple of shirt films. You shot this on a Canon HV 30. Sweet. I don't think the resource center had these when I was there. Was this camera from the film department?
@NexusNine Yeah. The HV30 was made available by the film department... I would suggest that if you plan shooting anything on HDV that (for cheap) the HV30 or HV40 is the way to go. Great lens. Handles low light really well (with practically 0 noise). The resource center has a few HDV cameras available, but they're not all too advanced.
@DancingZombie Yeah, the resource center has mostly Sony HD Handcams. The biggest problem for me was that they only shot in 30i instead of 24p. If there is one thing I would love to have done differently with my shorts is shoot at 24p. I'm going to be living in the Portchester area soon. If you ever want to hang and talk film or work on something, feel free to give a shout out.
Very good. I can see a little Stanley Kubrick in it.

music works really well. awesome opening scene. foxy ending. packed with suspense in between.
also really glad you chose to stay in color.
the warehouse window favors the scene really well.
