Well, Edward and Jill don't mind being low-levelled... I think it's a mixture of base stats and the class they get (being a Cavalier only hurts during most of Micaiah's chapters).
On an unrelated note: forewarning on your PoR Fem. challenge, Illyana's fixed growths will piss you off (there's like 3-4 instances of nothing being raised, and more than half of those being awful growths).
She's been all right so far, doubling those Knights and weighed down enemies. She's about as good as Soren is, except slower (but procing Strength every 4 levels or so) and lacking Adept.
Third lowest speed growth in the game is quite a problem though, but we do get Calill later.
Really? The difference is like 1 point of speed every 20 level-ups. Unless you do it one exp point at a time (in which case you might as well go random mode and reset until you get +5 each level). Ilyana's 30% growth doesn't allow 1exp point abuse, though.
If you give her an A-level tome and have her fight exclusively archers, cats, ravens and thieves, with a speed+ band equipped, her speed growth is altered to 45%. It's a while until you do get that tome, though. 40% speed growth is okay though, the same one as Soren, Kieran and Tanith.
She's about fast enough to not be doubled by anybody besides Myrms (unless you just leave her with Elthunder before you've proc'd enough Strength). The mages in Radiant Dawn have it way worse though, with horrible caps and in the only FE where caps actually matter.
I'd use Orson only if I were going for some low turn record or something. Or, like in this video, I'm just too lazy to separate my trio even further to face the two enemies protecting the chests, not to slow down their progress.
Otherwise, train Ephraim and one of the social knights (it's usually a good idea to focus on one and bench the other, especially since you've probably been training Franz by now).
... Did you do something to piss off the RNG to make you restart like that!? <__<
jokes aside .. I thought that the RNG doesn't change within a chapter after it was saved o_o. I had issues sometimes where I couldn't evade an insta crit from an enemy ( first attack/counter) .. then again when i'm dealing with RNG.. I get the most unbelievable results.
I was playing a hack called FE Girls just yesterday and had a fatal 99% displayed bow strike miss my recruit Guinevere. But then, I lost my peg knight to a Hand Axe fighter coming out of nowhere (it was a Fog of War map) the next turn, so that was a 0.01% miss chance that I had no need for in the end.
@MoogleBoss FE Girls huh... that had issues with me no problem. 3/4 of the level ups being 1 or no stats AND critical happy... I'm surprised I had reached chapter 10 LOL
The most fucked up moments were when 'HE' appeared ... Oh God x_x
I have a feeling they're not using the true hit mechanics in that hack. That would explain the frequency of highly accurate attacks missing. Makes sense when you also have FE4-style Canto and other things in the game that are absent in the original (or the other GBA FEs for that matter).
In every FE game starting with FE6, lower hit rates are lower than they seem, and higher hit rates higher than they appear. e.g. displayed 20% hit is in reality only 8%. Displayed 85% is actually 95%. And a 99% displayed hit is about 99,99% accurate.
I noticed some skills (namely full Canto, and auto-healing on Eirika/Ninian), but I don't know which other ones they added.
Haha Fiona.... God awful. Lvl 9 first tier when everyone else in your party is 2nd tier already.

@MoogleBoss Yeah, I rectified her speed issues with a thief band, works wonders.

@MoogleBoss Oh right, I might have fought particular enemies in doing so during fixed mode.
I should pay more attention since it affects those, I always seem to forget that fixed mode can still be influenced by enemies fought.

@MoogleBoss Yeah, her speed didn't turn out as great as I made it out to be but it's a survivable speed nonetheless.

Huh... I WAS curious why my wife was laughing so hard earlier...
...You forgot to bribe her, didn't you? T_T
Anyway, I love (personally) how this chapter is called "5x" but it's mandatory... You might as well just call it chapter "6" but whatever.
Nice job, however.
Also, quick question; yay or nay when it comes to Orson (on a normal run)?

@MoogleBoss ... Damn, I expected something like this but didn't think that was it!? D: I feel bad at how much the RNG was screwing around D:
IIRC most of FE9 and FE10 are there ( the version I have anyway) which means hi Luna .. D:
