I still have it and its satisfying. The iPod nano 6g is too small, no games, and a camera. But this iPod is amazing. It can almost do the things like an iPod touch.

Hi. I have a serious problem.I have an ipod nano 5th generation. The other day i dropped my ipod and when i picked it up the screen was completely white. So i reset it and the screen went completely black. And now it wont turn on, or reset. Whenever i plug it into the computer or my ihome nothing happens. The computer doesnt read it and the ihome doesnt either. I dont know what to do. At first i thought it might need a lcd screen replacement but when it didnt get reconized i was confused. Help?

I love this device but there are a few major flaws in the design that i disagree with.The video camera is on the bottom meaning you either have to hold it over the camera or over the screen causing you to not be able to see what you are recording.The second is the earphone jacks location.This is the the is really the thorn in my side because compared to previous experiences it feels awkward and strange....but thats just me.

The iPod nano (5th gen) is a great gadget, I love it and use it every day.

BUT, my one BIG gripe is its low battery life. The battery sucks big time. Why did Apple put such a crappy battery in a great device like this? Beats me.

@SuperDouble2010 The battery does not last very long. Not that much of a problem. It not only charges via the USB connection, but it can also be powered continually from an external source. There is also an adapter to charge it from a car cigar lighter socket (again, you can run it continually from the cigar lighter socket). In addition, I purchased a cigar lighter to dual USB adapter, and I also have a mains plug to USB adapter (thank you, Samsung).
