I can't imagine owning a glass cockpit without synthetic vision installed. With synthetic vision, Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System EGPWS, a GPS moving map display and FADEC Full Authority Digital Electronic Control engine controls.....anyone could fly a plane. IF they could afford it. All you would need is the power leever, and follow the map. EGPWS is a database that knows where ground obstacles to flight are. It requires no radar...only a good inertial navigation alignment.
