  • ""All Proposition 8 accomplished was to take away from same-sex couples the right to be granted marriage licenses and thus legally to use the designation of 'marriage,' which symbolizes state legitimation and social recognition of their committed relationships. Proposition 8 serves no purpose, and has no effect, other than to lessen the status and dignity of gays and lesbians in California, and to officially reclassify their relationships and families as inferior to those of opposite-sex couple

  • Well said! It's nice to see a straight person speaking out for us!

  • @jmaloneism He is gay.....

  • @Normalizee Normally when I think a guy's attractive, he's straight!

  • @jmaloneism Haha the same here.

  • @jmaloneism Lol you think hes straight :P

  • Though I may not be the most devout catholic there'll ever be, I could be pretty sure that somewhere in the bible it is written specifically NOT to make a decision on the judgement of others. Basically don't tell others where they'll go after this life.

  • CatholicAmerican

You may not pass judgement. Jesus spent his life surrounding himself in the company of whores and the poor, he showed love to those who did not receive it from the world. In my view of Jesus he would be accepting of gays the "disease" they possess and all. Jesus taught to love those who need love and to see them for whom they are. And if the worse sin I ever commit if kissing another man then I feel God won't have a dilemma on were I go after this life.

  • CatholicAmerican

If your view is not based on the teachings of faith as the basis for your distaste for homosexuality feel few to correct me. Just because you form a coherent sentence lacking "I hate fags" does not mean your message is not clear. I am born and raised catholic I know the teaching of a priest as well as you. In the eyes of God one may only pass judgement when one is without sin. Homosexuality is seen as sin in the bible, but so is masturbation. So unless you have never done this

  • *common

  • For the beastiality person, I recommend taking any basic psychology class to find out why what you're suggesting is detrimental. On a biological level, studies show that there are numerous reasons why incest is a health hazard, and on an animal to human contact level there is no definitive proof of consent by the animal. The argument below could apply to your statements as well; reporting blind theory as law is a very dangerous thing, especially when evidence of an opposing argument is evident

  • Agreed, lark, well said

  • To all of you people shaming this brave *teenager* for his point of *view*, as a fellow catholic and gay teen myself, I am deeply ashamed at the lack of tolerance and amount of judgement you have put on this teenager (the youth of this nation). How can you say such things when the most important teaching of the bible and all other religions of the world is to love thy neighbor, wether you are being criticized yourself (tolerance), wasn't Jesus the greatest example of this, wasn't he accused of

  • Biologically speaking, the human body is ONLY heterosexual. Sexual anatomy is designed for coitus, not homosexual mutual masturbation. Masturbation is an imitation of coitus. An imitation is not the real thing. Marriage is the real thing and it functions in harmony with the human body. Same sex desire is at war with the reality of human sexual anatomy and the purpose and function of gamete cells.

Biology is not bigotry. Homosexuals have an objective mental disorder in light of biomechanics.

  • @CatholicAmerican Since your speaking as a Catholic and the Catholic church is a religion, then you just lost your cause. I bet your not a scientist, just someone throwing out your church dogma. How pathetic. I'm not part of your church (club) rules, so I don't follow your discriminating, bigoted thinking, neither do alot of others. So keep your club rules to yourself. Besides don't you need a second job to help pay off thoe molestation debt that your CATHOLIC church did to altar boys ???

  • @2ube2ube

This is biology plain and simple. Your words display grave ignorance of and hate for religion.

You are clearly trying to start a hateful fight here. Shame on you. I spoke no word of religion which means you are being a bigot who is trying to change the subject from one of biological fact to one of religious opinion. That is not only intellectually offensive and dishonest, it is a sign that you harbor ill will for your fellow man.

Your anatomy is designed for coitus.

  • @CatholicAmerican yet if you talk to the professionals (those who study mental disorders) they will tell you that they dont

  • @mermaidsareppl222

Gay activists have been working hard to secure groups of professionals while launching insults and ad hominem attacks at any psychiatrist or sociologist who scrutinize the teachings of gay activist "professionals".

Since Biology is an empirical science and Psychiatry is a theoretical science, it is the burden of the theoretical science to reconcile what it teaches with what can be observed in the biological order.

Gay activist "professionals" do not attempt this.

  • @mermaidsareppl222

If someone's psychiatric teaching is strong then that person would want many eyes scrutinizing their work because it would only reveal how correct it is. But the gay activist "professionals" do not want voices of scrutiny to be heard because their conclusions depart from what can be observed in the natural science of anatomy and biology.

  • @CatholicAmerican so then every member of the apa are "gay activist professionals"

  • @mermaidsareppl222

Well it is pretty activist to form a panel on reparative therapy and have no dissenting voices on it.

So in the case of the APA's written opinion on R.T., yes they are one sided activists who have disregarded the scientific principle of scrutiny.

  • @mermaidsareppl222

And you haven't posted the name of the "gay gene" so it's time to apologize for being rude to me and saying that I have blinders on.

  • @CatholicAmerican why should i apologize for saying the truth?

  • The things you are saying in this video is a mark of grave ignorance on this topic. Take your blinders off and study the facts surrounding homosexuality and the tactics that gay activists are using in an effort to impose the normalization of homosexuality on the world.

There is no gay gene or allele. There is no genetic cause for sensation seeking. Sexual anatomy is clearly designed for the purpose of deploying a male gamete into close proximity of where a female gamete may arrive.

  • You don't get it. There are genetic codes that produce skin color and gender. There are no genetic alleles that cause homosexuality.

The lungs are designed for breathing and sexual anatomy is designed for coitus. Homosexuality is a neurosis much like anorexia. A homosexual is not mentally fit to make a legal ruling on homosexuality.

Walker was ruling on his own case. That's a disorder in and of itself.

Homosexuality is not a race it is a dysfunction. That's biology, not bigotry.

  • @CatholicAmerican walker was ruling on what was right, and those who are bigots (like you) hate that he ruled for america

if you took your blinders off and did some research youd realize that there is a gay gene

  • @mermaidsareppl222

Ok, blinders are off. Where is the gay gene?

If there was one you would have posted it's name instead of an insulting comment. What is the name of the gay gene? Either state it or apologize to me for being rude.

  • This an Awesome Video.

  • "“Of liberty I would say that, in the whole plenitude of its extent, it is unobstructed action according to our will. But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual.”

Thomas Jefferson quote Source: Think exist.com~ Thomas Jefferson quote

  • I believe that a "piece of paper" is not needed to express love and commitment to your partner.

  • actually, the government is influenced by the church, which is stupid because 1: there is more than one religion practiced in the US or there are those who don't practice a religion 2: the church should not preach it's bullshit just because a holy book says its wrong. if it is so wrong to be gay/lesbian/bi/transgender then why does it exist. god does not hate fags because if he did then there wouldn't be any of them in the world. I'm sorry that a stupid book has blinded your judgement

  • continued: Though I'd favor dropping all government benefits associated with marriage, since civil unions are often basically the same as marriage anyway.

  • If the only thing that you're looking for in marriage is the government benefits from it, I'll gladly accept dropping all benefits associated. Marriage is a RELIGIOUS ceremony where a man and woman commit their relationship and the family they are building to God. That's why religious communities are up in arms about it. The God that most people believe in in this country condemns homosexuality so to allow gay marriage is to infringe on beliefs. You want tax benefits, go for civil unions!

  • @adampoole6 To assume everyone agrees with that particular Christian viewpoint is unfair to anyone who doesn't (atheists, Metropolitan Christians, Wiccans etc.); basing the law on it forces everyone to act as though they do. Essentially, it makes one church's law equal to national law, because someone decided that their beliefs were better and more important than the people's freedom to choose what to believe and act accordingly. If that isn't infringing on beliefs, then I don't know what is.

  • @seanbamford The only reason this is an issue at all anyway is because government stepped into marriage in the first place. That's why I say get it out of marriage entirely and have legal status and gov't benefits decided some other way. That way if one community wants to come up with their own "equivalent" to marriage they can do so, but there's no mandate for me to accept it or my kids to be indoctrinated by it.

  • @adampoole6 I see where you're coming from, but I can't see how government benefits can be issued without government involvement. And the law isn't forcing you to accept anything, you can maintain your beliefs about homo relationships as before. People might look down on you for it, but that's nothing new. Also: you plan on teaching your kids that being gay is a bad thing, and that their marriages are unsound, right? That's indoctrination too.

  • @seanbamford Just one instance would be allowing any two people with shared incomes to file joint taxes without marriage even being asked. Or you choose who inherits your property, not just automatically to your spouse. Etc. And such laws in Massachusetts DID force children to be read homosexual books in school with parents having no right to exclude them. And took away parents rights to specify anything concerning who adopts their kids when put up for adoption.

  • @seanbamford And following the same line about indoctrination, I'm "indoctrinating" my kids by teaching them it's wrong to yell, fight, or anything else undesirable. You have the right to teach your children religious beliefs. When they become adults, they decide for themselves.

  • @adampoole6 actually no its not a religious ceremony

  • OMG how do I get your hair?

  • @FueltheAnimus

"And shouldn't consenting adults be allowed to do what makes them happy as long as they aren't hurting anyone else?"←Hope you also hold that position when polygamists and incestuous people wants to get legally married. :)

  • @hfiosl

Actually, consensual sexual relationships can be properly made with fully sexually mature animals as long as the human respects the animal consent.

If you didn't know, fully sexually mature animals can CONSENT to sex with humans or with their own species, they use body language to give non-verbal consent to sexual activities or any other non-sexual activities that a human or an animal my want to do with them.

  • I'm not sure i'm gay or straight but i will say that prop 8 sucks and needs to go die in a hole after you drag it through a fire, get it bitten by a poisonous snake and spider and get it run over by a train and do the spanish hat dance on it.

  • We can all laugh when the Supreme Court destroys Prop 8 and all of it's counterparts across the country within the next year!

  • @Systemicyco

[Part 1] Yep - eventually - it'll be Loving v. Virginia all over again. But I think it'll take some more time, probably a few more years to reach SCOTUS, maybe two or three. And it's probably best that way (even though justice shouldn't wait) because public opinion will be even more in favour of Marriage Equality.

Remember there are 4 liberals/progressives, 4 conservatives, and one moderate conservative (Justice Anthony Kennedy) on the SCOTUS bench.

  • @Systemicyco [Part 2] Justice Kennedy has ruled for civil rights in LGBT related cases in the past: Most famously Romer v. Evans and Lawrence v. Texas - and he even wrote the Opinion of the Court in each. But he is still a moderate *conservative*. He will be uneasy about striking down the many bigoted laws banning same-sex marriage in the states.

Public opinion is shifting very fast though, and I think that a good SCOTUS ruling can be expected within 3 to 4 years perhaps.

  • How old are you???

  • i back prop 8 ... fag

  • @kidproblem1 Oh, I just read all of your hate comments about 'fags and gays' on your profile. Sorry you feel that way but you're entitled to your opinion, but for the record my opinion is in fact different.

  • people always seem ignorant to the most extreme point where theyre logic is flawed. why do we have ignorant people running our country?

  • I want to thank you for making me spend four hours on Youtube watching your videos. I had actual work to do. Stop being so interesting and awesome.

  • @zebibabr I agree, i did the same thing lol

  • i just discovered you on here. i must admit im impressed by your communication skills. you give me hope for our future generations. run for office, youve retained my vote.

  • 42 thousand viewers! well, I am glad I supported you from the first week you started doing vids. I know talent and great souls when I see them. Keep it up dude!

  • Yes you are right

  • I want to do study law and the sciences as well as English and then il prove loads of people wrong, that it doesnt matter who you are or what that you can go far and beet the stupid media at their own game and proove that a judgement is a judgement

  • funnilly enough they also wanted to impeach a female judge after the abortion decision in '73

  • Your so smart in all that you know :-) thanks for being there and explaining it

  • with a majority of Americans supporting gay marriage, its only a matter of time Brandon. and your young so definitely before your thirty, gay marriage will be legalized, in Pennsylvania at least if not the whole country....

  • I really like your brain power keep it up - the country needs more logical young intellegent people like you to talk logic to your peers -the older you get the more you will see how Americans have been dumbed down to believe the dumbest things - so those in higher places can take advantage of the dumbness & fear that has no logical foundation -other than it being repeated over and over - like a brainwashing. I like your sign off (don't do drugs stay in school make good choices) anyone listening?

  • you should like, move to England and date me.

unrelated but it needed to be said

  • i like your voice so much dude!

  • @CDKJS I'm afraid the Republicans and/or the Christians are to blame on that one. Not to generalize, (because there are many wonderful exceptions) but as a rule, Americans enslaved to the bearded floating cloud guy tend to disregard certain human rights (read: equality).

  • Watched, liked, then subscribed :D

  • Wow it is sad that the world can't just accept us as a full part of society. love your video's by the way.

  • love all your video's

  • @FueltheAnimus Unfortunately you're right, too many "christians" hide behind the bible instead of promoting it, and they hit you blindly with verses they can't explain. And again, you're referring to the old Jewish law, which has become obsolete since the implementation of the New Testament. But, I don't want to have an extensive argument on here, message me because I enjoy hearing people's opinions on topics like this.

  • @FueltheAnimus You're right, people such as yourself often misinterpret the Bible when they read it and take it out of context. That's why the Church Tradition explains scripture the way it is supposed to be understood. A degrading view of women? Is that why the Church sees Mary as the coredemptrix, the Mother of God, and the one who will crush the serpent? You're quoting from the Old Testament, and the old Jewish law is not applied in today's church. And you use the KJV, which has errors

  • If the law is made in a state high court does it apply to the whole countr? That's the system here. When the Delhi High court decriminalized homosexual sex in 2009 it affected the whole country and not just Delhi. The system is different here so i just wanted to know if USA follows the same system. SO??

  • @FueltheAnimus Remember that I never mentioned the Holy Bible. But yes, the word of God always takes precedence over the word of man, because men are flawed and God is not, as per my belief anyway. Two men cannot procreate, so homosexuality, while in itself is not a sin, is unnatural because the natural way is for a man and woman to be together and produce life. Killing babies makes some people happy, but do you think abortion should be legal?

  • All your vids are very nice! saludos desde México! :D

  • this is one of your most well delivered vids =DD

  • Where are u boy????

  • Are you a bottom ? ?

  • I completely agree prop 8 is stupid. I saw the head line and read part of the article but was confused, but after I've been watching your videos they have been making sense, also you videos like the "It Gets Better" are very good and every time I get depressed I watch your video and the Google Chrome video about "It Gets Better", and I start to feel good about myself. So I just wanna say thanks for your video, also I've seen someone from the Midwest that lives there that looks a lot like you an

  • why dont you use dailybooth anymore?

  • That was awesome man. You should definitely get involved in politics and/or law. You have a very logical mind.

  • Give me one good solid reason why anyone should support gay marriage

  • @bniagara Well, why not? It doesn't hurt anyone. So, why object?

  • @Laterboy13 it undermines what real marriage should be, a God-given sacrament uniting a man and a woman. Are gay people not content enough just living together? Who says that they have to get married?

  • aww maan i wish i were a dud <3

  • i hate even hearing about prop 8. i live in canada, so it doesn't affect me, but knowing there are so many other gays going through discrimination in the world makes me sick.

  • yay canada!!!! love us.

  • thankfully i live in Canada.

  • @theworldisnotmine what r u saying? u support gay marrige

  • @kidproblem1 of course I support it! Sorry, I don't think the first comment that I'd sent posted. I was saying that this news is less of a big deal for me here but CONGRATULATIONS to you guys in the states. Sorry if that didn't come out the way I intended. I'm gay and I obviously am fully supportive of any positive actions in the right direction, in any country!!!!

  • I strongly agree with what he said that prop 8 supporters had no evidence that legalizing gay marriage had an affect on everybody in society.

  • who are these random people who dislike things which everyone else likes? just wondering.

  • You're cute, but more importantly you're smart. Keep that going for you. :)

  • @gasdf123456789 His Name Is Brandon

  • @laserthebeam well everyone is deiffrent and i see gay people as human beings, the same as me that just have a diffrent prefrence. and i have alot of gay friendds. also um i dont hate you and i send u my love. and dont really have standards for people...

  • @hfiosl naw i actually know alot of gay people dude and um im not saying ur going to hell if your gay like jesus loved everyone so thats wut ima do. and yeah no h8

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you for saying what needed to be said. I am a strait girl and honestly, it disgusts me how illogical people are when it comes to gay rights. I'm sure that in like 50 years, people will look back on how people treated gays and wonder what the fuck we were all doing. But until then, keep posting, your videos are great :)

  • This video is perfect in every way.

  • One other quick point: This is a HUGE part of why the United States of America even HAS the appeals process in PLACE, for Heaven's sake! I DO agree with the Proponents and everyone ELSE I''ve spoken 2 on both sides, that (short of being denied the RIGHT 2 appeal, which COULD still happen in this case) a single judge's ruling, I don't care WHO it is, or WHAT the issue is, should always have the chance 2 B reviewed by a HIGHER COURT. The *SUPREME* COURT rulings are final @ the time of release.

  • Finally (4 now), yes, Federal judges HAVE been impeached over judicial misconduct. TO DATE, since the establishment OF our Federal judiciary in A.D. 1789, a grand total of FIFTEEN Federal judges were removed from the bench. The House of Representatives files the article(s) of impeachment in a somewhat similar manner 2 how they would impeach the President or Vice-President of the United States, the Senate hears the case, and renders a final decision on "pulling their robe," as the slang has it.

  • ALSO, it is very difficult to PROVE absolute bias one way OR the other, as you so sagely pointed out in this video. We also have a system for vetting our judges, ESPECIALLY for an independent Federal judiciary system! It's called: 1) President of the United States nominates the judge, and 2) ONLY when a clear majority of the United States Senate CONFIRMS that nomination is that judge seated! 3) Judicial MISCONDUCT is always reserved for things far, far worse than a "bad"/"biased" ruling!

  • The Proponents of Proposition 8 @ ProtectMarriage "dot" com (etc.) were stupid enough NOT to request a recusal of the Honorable Vaughn R. Walker, (then) Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, when this case was assigned to him AT RANDOM. However, they DID request a recusal of Justice Reinhardt of the UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE NINTH CIRCUIT, when it was discovered that his wife BELONGS to a group who filed an amicus brief in the case.

  • I like drugs and the American education system is broken at best.

  • We (Australia) do "throw judges off the stand" if the case risks their biased.

  • @imjAyOK- look at history- the only thing constant is change for the better- what is a novelty today will become 'traditional' 100 years later. But if we cannot be rational enough to bring in a change which sanctifies a same sex couple to feel the same blessing(marriage) as an opposite sex couple-(considering that the love is the same)- then shame on societies for being so short-sighted.When people defy all odds to stick by each other-then they form a family-and no one can take away that truth.

  • @imjAyOK you yourself say that gay parents are great parents-so you respect the fact that they are 'families'-but seem to have a problem with the fact that they are not 'traditional families'. My question to you is -are all 'traditional' families doing great? What should be more important- the fact that they are traditional or the fact that the unit people form, the bond that makes them a 'family' is sanctified by love and respect?

  • It's a sad reflection on our society that we seem to dwell on the ridiculous and inane subjects. Maybe when we have resolved world hunger, nuclear fall-out, climate change, poverty, disease, etc. then we can concern ourselves with who is setting up home with who.

  • i don't understand why you can get so handsome and good looking. i can see that the older you are the more attractive you are. im sure you will get a nice guy who'd love you if you didnot abuse of your look

  • P.S. Yeah I agree your right. That's ridiculous.

  • Shoot O.O your so lucky it didn't pass there.. IT PASSED IN CALIFORNIA! Ughh ridiculousness!

  • For those who think Judge Walker should have recused himself because he was gay, you need to know that Judge Walker was appointed to the bench by Ronald Reagan, over the protest of gay activists, and that one of his early rulings denied the sponsors of what are now called the "Gay Games" the right to call their event the "Gay Olympics".

  • Yea!! Finally a new vid =) I briefly heard new about prop 8 one day. To my surprise I heard the news through u that prop 8 was against gay marriage, right? Either way what strikes me is that the case didn't go through. Usually it's the other way around with pro gay rights, and I usually ignore because it usually doesn't pass, which I shouldn't be ignoring cuz i'm gay.

  • Extra point: The judge was appointed by...wait for it,,,a Republican!

  • Prop 8 lost because the case fell apart. Prop 8 supporters could not provide a single example of harm to society by giving gay people the right to marry. Their own witnesses not only fell apart on the stand, they actually reversed themselves. Prop 8 was shown, in court, to have no merit.

  • i was thinking that here in my country are problems with this subject... but now i see that even america is encountering such problems too... maybe ppl like u would change this situation... i want to see in the future that u are someone to shout for :) ... nice vid i like this ones but i like the AgayAday too... u are a good person, dont change :)

  • For those who support Prop 8, read the ruling. It was the most brilliant ruling I've read, thorough and the facts and conclusions of law made sense. He concluded that Prop 8 was only a superiority clause as was its predecessor Prop 22. They tapped into voter fears and used a lot of misinformation that they couldn't back up in court. And yes, their evidence SUCKED! Their experts reluctantly supported the opponents arguments

  • If we really analyze where the Prop 8 supporters are coming from, it comes down to religion: tradition, culture, family, they are all defined by religion, at least in this sense. And why did our founding fathers made clear that there should be separation between between church and state? Exactly for these type of matters. And if you don't agree with gay marriage, then don't marry somebody of the same sex! As simple as that, as what Wanda Sykes says. But don't tell me who I can and can't marry

  • Good news is... Constitutional, American law is on the side of fairness, and once the prop 8 trial gets to the SCOTUS, GLBT folk WILL achieve what is deserved; EQUALITY in the pursuit of happiness for ALL!

  • People (including the anti-gay organizations) have to realize that the bible does not come into play when it comes to American, fundamental rights. At the ballot box, gay rights are losing, by vote of the majority, for two reasons: Religious bias of what is perceived the bible says about "a man laying with another man, as he would with a woman", AND, Huge $ financing campaigns to trick those "on the fence", about false "consequences" of gay rights advancement, including threats to politicians.

  • urHOT

  • I'm gay and mad about the outcome as well, but the logic makes sense. In roe v. wade--abortion, 73' Judge Edith Jones was conservative and a women so she wasn't taken off the case; I'm sure if she had said she was 'pro-abortion' or anti-abortion' then she would've not been able to take the case. So unfortunately, taking the man of the case does make sense, for biased or point of view reasons.

  • There was a wonderful moment in the trial when Prop 8 supporters tried to criticize the fact that gays and lesbians often have children out of wedlock. The response from our side was something like: "If that's a problem for you, you should grant us marriage rights and then we won't have children out of wedlock."

  • Prop 8 is absolutely ridiculous, gay people should have just as much right to get married as straight people. Whether or not a couple is eligable to be married should have nothing to do with if it is a same sex marriage or not.

  • Oh no, not again. I just don't get the people that back up Prop8. IT SUCKS.

I live in The Netherlands, where it's equality for EVERYONE and not (except for gays) in little letters, and if someone would even dare to forbid gay marriage in here, I think he would be in jail before you could say 'racism'.

Also, @imjAyOK It's not a disruption, because these people are already gay, they should either stay alone and unhappy forever, or find another gay person, and they have every right to marry them.

  • The very nature of a judge's position is for him to decide disputes rising from the law. He is to be impartial and judge only by the letter of the law. To claim that he's incapable of doing this simply because he is or had a gay relationship is to imply that a judge cannot do the very thing conservatives claim a judge must do. This's hypocritical and pathetic, and as a fellow conservative (more of a classical liberal), I'm embarrassed by the argument against it. Clarify, I'm gay/gay marriage

  • Chill out man.--You are young, get out there and enjoy yourself and leave all this kinda stuff until you get older.-I know it's cliche, but the years do fly by.

  • I don't get why there is such an issue in the U.S. regarding LGBT issues. Aren't you guys supposed to be all freedom and equality?

In Iceland, there is no difference between same sex couples and opposite sex couples. When the parliament voted for or against same sex marriage, every single member of parliament voted for it.

Even our prime minister is gay, and nobody cares...

  • @Adalbjorn Someday we'll be like you. It's just that America is very into being a giant hypocrite right now. America likes to pretend that it's all about equality, and freedom, and diversity. But it isn't. It's about the Christian religion, and it's about the Christian religion, and it's about the Christian religion. And that's it. That's all it's about and they don't even pretend to make it any different. And it's fucking stupid and it's one of the only things I truly hate about our country.

  • @laserthebeam They can have that type of family if that's what they want - allowing gay people to get married does not affect this. That's the main thing I don't understand - Why do they think it will affect them?. I'm glad to be part of a more tolerant section of society :)

  • this guy

  • you're awesome dude. Totally agree. LERB YA

  • I don't see why this is a problem, is a pair of people really love each other, they should be able to get married. No matter what sexuallity or race. To me, this is like saying I can't marry a white man because I'm chinese.

  • I can't believe that we are still fighting for marriage. Why is it still an issue? Can't people find something more productive to do then to try to stop Adam and Steve from getting married?

  • So does that mean that proponents of Prop 8 who believe their beliefs of family are more important like to contradict themselves? A family then consists of a father, mother, two children and MISSENSE.

  • "You didn't lose because the judge was gay. You lost because your case was TERRIBLE." I want to quote that somewhere. So awesome, and so true. Both Prop 8 and DOMA are so unconstitutional it isn't even funny. Not only do they directly conflict with the fourteenth amendment, but DOMA even goes against the Full Faith and Credit clause in the Constitution proper. Conservatives just want to obey the Constitution, they say? Only when it agrees with them, apparently. Just like Christian fundies... Hm.

  • its really sad how this world it was all the judgmental discriminations . its almost always against, any race except white, any gender except male, any religion except Christan, n homosexuality, i really hope this world will quit when our generation of teens grow up n the old discriminate ones die off.

  • I totally share your opinion. And thank you for making videos! They comfort me when I think: "Is the whole world crazy, or is it maybe me?"

  • people are stupid.

  • You left one important point out of your commentary, which was excellent. If it's not ok for a gay judge to decide a case that pits straights against gays, why is it any more appropriate for a straight judge to hear the case?

  • I just don't understand why the haters care about gay marriage. It doesn't affect them in the same way that their marriages don't affect us. If they put their drive and resources into something worthwhile not only would they gain respect but they would have a chance at making a real positive difference in the world. Love is the most constructive emotion in existence but hate is the most destructive. Lessons that they could learn if they actually follow their religion properly

  • I don't get the problem with straights hating gays? confuses me

  • One question: Is prop 8 only for the State of California or the whole country?

  • @IndiaJacob Prop 8 is only for California. It was created as a reaction to the state allowing gay marriages to take place. The drive to pass Prop 8 was largely funded by the Mormon Church. Thank you so much, Mormons. Your bigotry and use of government legislation to interfere with the lives of those who have nothing at all to do with your church is so greatly appreciated.

  • @nrf91 Thanks....for the info that is. God!!!!! i hate haters. :) Just be happy US has gone that far. Its not even legal to have gay sex here except for in New Delhi. The rest of the country can got to jail for that. Sucks, i know. But the police suck so much her you can have sex with them and they still wont do anything. HA

  • Reminded me why i watch your videos :D

  • you nailed it! They just dont get it..

  • Couldnt have said it better myself. Thanx

  • @xswimprincessx Straight people have a different mind frame - That is, the sanctity of marriage must be of a man and a women in a sacred ritual that has only been practiced for thousands of years in the Christiandom. I did a sociology paper last semester looking at why people feel against and for gay marriage. I had unfortunately a lot of American literature (i'm Canadian) but I also have found out why right thinkers act the way they do. For the short answer, it's backed by religion :(

  • Have you read Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; 1 Timothy 1:9-10? Jesus is the only one who did. I am not judging anyone. I am only sharing the truth of God's word. Ask Him to reveal the truth to you. I have asked God to reveal the truth to me about many things throughout my life, and he has shown me the truth. It is up to me to seek and follow the truth. Will you?

  • @pulseofmyheart Of course I will. I know that God loves everyone. I believe that he made men and women gay to show how ignorant his followers have become and how blind his followers have been and that they do not fully appreciate loving one another's neighbour for who they are. I believe that God created gay men and women to stand the test of love of his followers . . . and believe me, his followers will not go to Heaven if they believe being gay is wrong.

  • @gillysinlow The God you describe is not the God of the Bible. Please, know your own doctrine. Signed — the educated Christian community.

  • @blurpeace Which God of the Bible? Many people like to manipulate their "One God" theory on others so I am not convinced that we are talking about the same God. You know what I mean? Besides, an educated Christian would also know the history of Christianity and the many hypocrisies it comes with. I'm just saying that interpretation is everything, so with all do respect, I'll promote an open-minded God while you resist that notion. I say to you sir, good day.

  • @pulseofmyheart You know, I really do wish God would just quit making gay people. Maybe then people like you would stop imposing your "passive almighty judgement" on God's own creations...especially when you should be accepting them and loving them for who they are in the eyes of the Lord - for it is not in you to punish and convict, but in Him, is it not? That was the teaching of Jesus Christ. I'm not judging, I'm just saying that IS THE TRUTH.

Ugh... Thank God I became an Atheist.

  • @Quellepaur Christians who hate gays are not in any way following in the footsteps of Christ, who said nothing at all, ever, about gay people, and who preached about loving thy neighbor and caring for the least among us.

  • @pulseofmyheart Just asked God if being gay was cool. He said yes.

Also? If God's not for the gays, then please explain Neil Patrick Harris. If you're telling me that God hates Neil Patrick Harris, then I'm going to just assume you don't have a brain. Because WHO COULD HATE NEIL PATRICK HARRIS?

  • I really dont know what to say about this because I don't want to start a comment war with some gay bashing prop 8 supporter, but I support you all the way. Either way I don't give a damn what the law says. The religious groups can't have monitors in every single household and they can't "purify" everything. I hope they learn to just accept themselves rather than trying to change everyone and everything else

  • Ummm......there is nothing in the constitution that says anything about marriage, so the 10th ammendment leaves it to the States. And if my State has to honor your gay marriage license, your state has to honor my gun license.

  • I agree with you 100%. And to add my own little side note...you never know what people's opinions really are. One of my good friends is gay and he's is against gay marriage. I know that sounds weird, but he has his reasonings for it. My point is, everyone has an opinion on something but we don't always choose to express those opinions all the time. Like you said, would you throw a black person off the case during a black right's trial? No.

  • I support NO H8!
