  • I honestly packed up all my shit and sold it on ebay after they raised the prices. GW has just turned into a company that clearly shows it doesnt care about its customer.

  • Hahahahahahaha that is awesome! :-)

  • XD

    Very funny...very true. Nice one!...haha

Been gaming since the early 70's and remember my friends and I complaining about it then also...GW sht has ALWAYS been overpriced(.)

...they generally make quality sht, but

  • Your translations are nearly 100% incorrect.

    example:

last word Hitler says is: "that's crazy" not "piss off"

  • wrong translation ... definitly NOT funny !! ....and I thought we germans have a low humor !!!

  • @measoner fucking idiot, its a parody, of course the translation was wrong. you obviously know nothing of the whole mem" downfall parodies" and of games workshop itself. have a good day, and whilst your at it, go fuck yourself.

  • @agj9 Bless you!

  • very bad

wer findet ne sub-verarsche auf so einem billigen level schon gut!?

  • thats sad but i loled

  • You should consider that are quality wargames out there that are non GW related, have better miniatures, better rules and more respectful attitude with gamers.

  • even tough i wish the GW would do something about how expensive hobby it is.BUT i won't stop buying their products, i have spent way over 3000€ in five years, i have eleven different armies on three biggest games and i have a gang/warband/team/fleet/Etc. in every specialist game they have. i am GM in five Dark heresys and i will let GW consume my money. you may ask: why, don't you see they are doing this on purpose? and i would answer: i know that, but I LOVE THEIR GAMES, STORIES AND MINIATURES!

  • All of you bitching about the price are retarded. You all clearly have no idea the kind of money it takes to produce the models they produce, on the scale they produce it, and have their own shops open to support a gaming/painting community. If you want shitty models, play your PP and Mantic games. I can walk into a shop and get customer service. Do you all remember what that is? It's fucking rare these days. That's also worth my money.

  • @AndyBDj87 The kind of money it takes to produce those models? Are you an idiot? Last time I checked plastic wasnt that expensive. You can also look at MANY other companies and see that they can offer ALOT MORE models per box than GWS can for MUCH less

  • @chiefynoob No. If you think the only thing GW pay for to make models is plastic, then YOU'RE an idiot. There's so much invovled: The moulds (Which cost hundreds of thousands of dollars and can nearly reach one million) which DO deteriorate and have to be replaced, the materials, the operating staff which are paid UK and US wages, not fucking made in China for next to nothing, The offices and games developers and artists and models painting team.

  • @chiefynoob Part 2: As well as the logistics of shipping models from the 'Forges' to warehouses and then to shops and also to overseas in the case of shipping models to Australia. Then there's shop rent, staff wages and utilities. And Even though most of you bitch about Finecast, when Pewter was first introduced to replace Lead, there were massive amounts of mismoulds. There's always going to be teething problems on such a massive scale with a new material.

  • @AndyBDj87 Seriously? Go look at their models now, I remember when the Battleforces where £50 now their £70, more models put in? No, most actually have models taken out now you are GETTING LESS than you were because they have yet AGAIN increased prices. Stop trying to justify their GREED because anyone with a bit of common sense will know that their models are WELL over priced. You sir are an idiot and just so you know I have stopped buying their models altogether.

  • @chiefynoob You retard. EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD goes up in price over time. I remember when going to the movies was 10 bucks Australian, now it's over 20 and I'm only 25. Bread and milk have more than tripled in price since I've been born. People bitch and moan about a LUXURY rising in price, but fucking take bullshit like movie hikes and essentials on the chin. You're all backwards.

  • @chiefynoob Part 3: If you genuinely think GW charge too much, it's simple, take your business elsewhere. All I know is that GW produce a good product, and the times there have been problems with the models, they fix it, no questions asked. They also support their games with places to paint and play and to meet like minded hobbyists. They are a business. If you think lowering prices is good business practice, God help you if you ever open your own one....

  • @AndyBDj87 A GW single miniature made out of Finecast resin, costs £10-£15. A box of Finecast miniatures costs £20-£30, or in the case of Blood Knights, £61 for FIVE models. A fleet starter box from Spartan Games, costs about £30, for 13 models, 10 tokens (made from a higher quality resin), all the stat cards, templates, and markers you need to play. The 40k Rulebook is £35. The Dystopian Wars Rulebook is £16 in full colour. GW CAN lower their prices, but they are too greedy to do so.

  • @StormchaserKnight Yes they probably could, but there's so much more that GW offers in terms of services that your other games don't. Do the other companies offer free places to play your games? Do they pay for staff to sit with you and help you with whatever help you need? Do they have a shop that have staff that will have the answers to pretty much most of the questions you'll have about their game on hand open 7 days a week? They offer a good service. That's worth money.

  • @AndyBDj87 As a former GW employee, I can tell you that the aim of the stores is not to help, but to sell. Yes, they teach Little Jimmy how to play, however, in the year and half I was there, teaching beginners every Sunday, only 5 of them continued with the hobby. Most of the time was spent building and painting new models, rather than helping customers. Any true wargamer can find a local gaming club rather easily. (cont.)

  • @StormchaserKnight Someone once said that GW has done for the wargaming world, what ancient Rome did for the civilised world. And it's true. Wargaming is no longer a dusty hobby for crusty old men. However, Rome fell under the weight of its own corruption and self-importance. GW is headed the same way if they don't do something about it.

  • @StormchaserKnight I have worked for them too. I know what they do, but that is ok because any business wants to sell so they can stay open. When I was there and with the staff I see now, they are there to answer my questions and create a fun environment. Buying product is a result of having fun.

  • the things hes says are german...same as the original movie^^

  • Mantic FTW

  • Warmachine.

  • GW is Overpriced Garbage compared to other products. Which is why games like Warmachine/Hordes & Malifaux are gaining more popularity amongst gamers. Better models, Less expensive (don't need to buy a shit ton of them to field an army) and better rules.

Can I get a thumbs up?

  • lets all cut the bullshit shit here and be totally honest. Not very many of us are actually going to stop buying Games Workshops products. Why? Because we like them. We like Warhammer 40 000 and fantasy. Other games may have more balanced mechanics but I like the fact that all I have to do is go to G.W's website, click on find store and immediately find a place to play. Many of us realize that these cheaper games can not support themselves and will soon die leaving the market between PP and GW.

  • The good thing about GW is their games have been around for so long that there is a huge abundance of second-hand models to buy so if you are savy, patient and willing to get educated about them you can find some great deals. Start at the local levels - check Craigslist and local gaming clubs/forums for your area, these will be the absolute best deals as people are sometimes willing to unload tons of models for next to nothing. Ebay can have good deals if you wait for them. No reason to buy new

  • Im not wealthy and the hobby isnt expensive to me at all, people need to stop bitching or stop playing.

  • even though its still expensive ive found that if you can, ordering from amazon is much cheaper

  • Yep ebay, even forgeworld has cheap tanks, a hammer head on forge world is $37 Australian the other night (I did the math) it's $83 on GW, I'm like wtf?

  • @Avatar230594 Buying on ebay still feeds the GW machine. Their games are becoming irrelevant as better systems are coming on the market, for cheaper, with better fluff. they had their moment, but they didn't grow with the times. I would always advocate to my friends wto stop buying GW stuff altogether, and take up other games instead.

  • I raged at them and they gave me the same excuse, bitches.

  • stopped buying gw stuff and told my friends that do it to just go on ebay

you get stuff on ebay that is just fine.

  • well just resynchronise it... ain`t funny for germans if you understand each and every word the actor says...

  • The trick is to actually stop buying GW stuff until they get the message and provide the merchandise for reasonable prices. It would also help if they started to produce good games again.

  • I think my own call to Games Workshop was similar. Except I don't think I was sporting the mustache.

  • Absolutely boring this vid when you´re speaking german -.-

  • personally i think they deserve the money for making such cool models. im sure they make a gigantic profit but they should because of the creativity and artistry involved. games workshop models are the michelangelos and rodins of today, if i could i would like to open a museum someday that would have the original sculptures.

  • Meine Ehre heißt Warhammer

  • Warhammer fans: More disposable income that you since the late eighties.

  • lol

  • It aren't funny at all then you actually understand what he's saying... :P

  • stop buying the models and the prices will come down or GW will go out of busines. I stopped buying GW models years ago because of the prices. I'm on to other hobbies so take that GW.

  • @1speleopower As fewer people buy the models they get less income. To generate the same revenue to cover the loss of 15% of their customers they rise the prices by 15%. Only a mass revolt would actually have the desired impact, anything smaller and it would make the situation worse.

  • @OVERKILLxxPro

Yes, raising prices is one way to respond to declining sales. It's also the stupid way to respond because raising prices means that you sell less product.

GW could try cutting costs. Or maybe introducing some "budget" kits like those in Assault on Black Reach and sell at higher volume. Or they could offer coupons for kits that sell poorly.

But all that's hard work. Just double all the prices and phase out the cheap kits. Nerds will buy it anyway.

  • @MrHongKongBuffet GW's profits rose during the second half of 2011.

  • I am just pissed of that they canceled the metal figurines. I was about to get Thraka

and have him professionally painted by a friend...

(I don't play War, but Thraka rocks none the less).

Now i'll have to do with a resin Thraka instead... suxx.

  • @Dreez76 You can still order the original model in your local games shop, o go on ebay :-)

  • Heil mein GW fuhrer.

  • if people didnt buy from other sources other than GW they wouldnt have done it in the first place

  • If you think this is bad, wait until you see the Australian prices. See for yourself.

Delete your GW cookies, select Australia as the country, and marvel at the double-UK prices. It gets better. They put an embargo in place so the minimum price you'll see from an Australian bulk distributor is 30+% on the US GW price, so you have to make friends with ebay if you want to live in a house by the end of the year.

  • @forumrabbit

wow man just checked!!! that shit is rough, they should not be allowed to do that :(

  • @forumrabbit I know right i live there and i need to buy mine on Ebay or Miniwargaming

  • So sad but oh so true.

  • lol and yet so true but worth it...

  • so true

  • And will all still buy the models....

  • @Loubaddon Nope, I just bought a Space Wolves army from Ebay for less than half of the retail price. Take that, GW!

  • @warpcrafter LOL! About 6months ago i bought Chaos worth of about 4-5kpts got a Fell-blade and all of it for about 450$ that includes the taxes, shipping and etc, and they reaally looked happy down in the shop when i told them of this great bargain i´d done! hahahah screw u GW!

  • WWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HEHEHEHEHEHE! So true. A friend and I had them on the phone a few years ago and we asked them about their prices and this is what they said." Because you yanks will pay it" That's a quote. LOL I love this video. Nice work.

  • trololol

  • He's right, playing with real men and women is much cheeper...

  • Ha yeah I hate the prices too... $40 for a small pack of models!? Kidding me... That is the biggest reason why I've not got into the game I already spent to much on them and I barely even have 30 models total! I think I spent well over $200 by now... Not cool.

  • im such a nerd that i agree with him ^_^

  • It is very true, everything has gone to high in price i rember when a paint pot was a around 1.25. i think now they are over 2 pound now and how heavy weapon squads were 18 pound are now 25... i think they last thing i brought was the new guard codex.

  • the prices will be good if was from metal and painted and 2x the amount of product.Just to make a start army need 200 euros WTF plus the rule books and to buy some terrain to play.By the way Hitler Stalin roosvelt they was playing minwar game and dident know it

  • That's actually kinda true...

  • :^D HAHAHA

  • The poof that tzeenth exists is gamesworkshop !

  • maybe hitler though, games workshop were jews?

  • So true

  • Ahaha, mimo, że jestem Polakiem, jestem za Hitelrem, w tej jednej, jedynej kwestii.

  • Totally agree with Hitler on this one. LOL

That is why I only buy my WH40k stuff off ebay now.

  • @procession101 Trudat.

  • HAHAHAHA

  • lol

  • High prices encourage competition.

  • Hahhahahaha XD! this is why hitler shot him self.......to spare him the agony of overpiced gaming models!

  • LOL. Best one yet.

  • It's true GW models are over-priced. But there's a secret way to overcome that. Don't say it to loudly when in public, or the Inquisition will come and silence me.... The secret is one simple word.... ebay.

  • @Alex025ize .............Heresy! lol :P

  • @Alex025ize paper minis work too

  • Actually no they are not the 'finest models on the market'. In some ways they are substandard, but yes many are nice. It boils down to if you like the style of things like 'ork boyz' and that whole shtick they have going on in GW games. I like Mordheim, Bloodbowl, etc. but honestly I would not play GW warhammer for the models. Instead the two main reasons would be: opponents can be found almost anywhere, there are many active lasting leagues, and the rules. Rolling d6 is appealing apparently.

  • hahahah this is great

  • I'm german so I sure as f**k know about the WWII. And nobody who knows about the Holocaust who is not a Nazi, as you say you're not, can seriously expect anybody to show any kind of respect to the man responsible for it. I'd rather live without highways in exchange for all the people who died a horrible death.

And besides, Hitler didn't INVENT the Autobahn. It would've been built all over Europe anyway, Hitler just happened to be the Chancellor at the time.

  • @SadLittlePumpkin please, just be quiet.

  • @MrThreeNips

    nope

  • Comment removed

  • @TheDanielMaloneyShow

actually, it DOES have to do with Nazis. Using Hitler creates the humor of this scene. it could have been a random guy ranting about Warhammer, but that wouldn't have been funny, at least in my opinion. It didn't have to be Hitler though, it could have been any other famous person, really.

  • some of you think this isnt funny, but it got a point, i what to start a warhammer 40k army and i cand afford it, its just too expensive

  • I can not see where there should be so funny, one on the last day to crazy. While he still soldiers in the disjointed commands sent to their deaths in an already lost war.

Is expected no different from people with such a shit nickname

  • You know only sad persons make vidoes like this, 'cause they to dumb to learn of historiy....-.-'

  • @kingnikolaj

I'm very interested in history and I still think this video is funny.

  • @SadLittlePumpkin

I'm sorry, but I can't see how this can be funny.... the film is a great one(you got to see Hitlers last days), but then the "new" subs comes in over its just bullshit....

  • @kingnikolaj

It's funny because one makes out of one situation a totally different one just by changing the subs. I do take the second world war very seriously.

The comic-effect is created by the movie being serious. If somebody would make new subs to a movie that's already funny, it wouldn't have the same parody-effect as a serious one.

  • @SadLittlePumpkin You are worng its NOT funny becuase of the subs, you should not make a "parody" as you call it on the man who could have won the war, but I think, you're to dumb to see it....

  • @kingnikolaj What, are you a Nazi or something? Why not make fun of him? Why give Hitler respect he doesn't deserve? He DIDN'T won the war and I'm glad about that, so what's your problem?

  • @SadLittlePumpkin No I'm not a nazi, but still you don't die by showing some respekt, something you lag

  • @kingnikolaj I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood you. Are you really saying I should show respect to Adolf Hitler? Are we speaking about the same Hitler here? Cause if you're suggesting I should respect him, you might wanna read up on the Second World War and the Holocaust again, I think you might be missing some facts.

  • @SadLittlePumpkin yes he was a bad man, BUT he also gave Europe almost all the highways, alot of what we know today was the nazi who fuond out etc. etc. and I know my WWII, so think agian...

  • @kingnikolaj Haha, okay, now I know for sure you're a troll. Nobody is THAT dumb.

  • @SadLittlePumpkin I´m Danish so I know Europian history.....-.-'

  • This movie has so many uses other than historical purposes lol

  • fake

  • Comment removed

  • Though pretty good, it could have been much funnier, instead of repeating 'why are their/your prices so high?', you could have inserted some gags or something...

  • You know times are bad when Hitler is complaining about GW's ethical practices.

  • racist

  • Fail

  • German Text isn´t the english Text!!!

  • I could probably trade in my army of Space marines for a better computer because mine crashed while watching this.

  • its funny because its true

  • i love this fuckin video!!

  • True, GW prices are waaaay up there and no, the great quality and scale of the whole hobby does not compensate. I've been thinking lately to start a new army in WH40k (Imperial Guard) but the cost of building a new army from scratch just puts me off.

  • Sir, we're losing money! what do we do?

"lower the grade of plastic, ditch the pewter, put less miniatures in the box, and raise the price."

brilliant! we'll get TONS of customers that way rather than using short-term solutions...

    wait, what?

  • Suck on that GW!

  • 12 GW employees watched this video

  • at0:06 he saiys Can i gratulate you to your birthday my Führer :-D

  • I used to work for GW , theyre dodgy bleeders to say the least,

  • @binloadon did you have to talk like a twat? lol

  • @mixindave1 but.... I am a twat .... LOL .

  • @binloadon that sucks hehe lol

  • This is really hard to watch if you speak english and german

  • @berkinbuoy true

  • @berkinbuoy Mach Ton aus^^

  • @berkinbuoy you are so damn right! But just turn the sound off ;-)

  • And im sorry, if you want cheaper prices, be prepared to have shortages and long waits for product, and almost all online ordering for lack of proper product on the shelf, and a less than stellar support for the games... Or you could fool yourself by playing "low point start" skirmish games only to "make it more fun by going bigger" and spend way more than you would on GW for an army less the size...

  • haha, but you cut out the end:

a few months later, hitler sees all the new shiny models GW is releasing and pre-orders all of it :)

  • ha ha ha to funny

  • its official, GW has gone completely bonkers

  • PIss Off! Love this shit!!!

  • Comment removed

  • They need one about fine cast :)

  • JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAjajaj ajJAJAa the best hitler video

  • I use to spend money in GW all the time....

    Then I got a life.

  • "its just a motherfucking commodity" exactly, they can price it however they want, and you as a consumer can either deal or not buy.

  • Now he plays Flames of War, he has a Battle of Berlin themed army :P

  • @moleman9000 "And... uh... you make a company morale checks. What did you roll?"

    "A one."

"Oh. I'm... very sorry, mein Furher. But your German defenders have broken. The Soviets have won, again."

    "What! Nein! Nein, nein, nein!"

  • @moleman9000 is there a Battle of Berlin themed army? If so what book, cause I'd love to play one.

I could even have Steiner attack...

  • @tkhushrenada There isn't a book, I believe it will be a release for next year. You can theme an army just as easily by downloading the free 'Panzer Divisions Ost' Briefing from the Battlefront website and using the list in that.

  • @moleman9000 and spending even more than he would on a GW army? Interesting.

  • @johnkerry7 i would tend to agree but i think fow is cheaper than gw but does it make a diffrence realy its a diffrent game so its gonna be priced diffrently

  • @rich9517 true, however i suppose it depends on the size of game you play, just like GW games. Im just sick of people bitching. You are correct and i have been sayin the same thing for years now. GW offers games at a different scale than other games. Saying its cheaper to play Game 1 or Game 2 is unfair because Game 1 or Game 2 may only require 4 models or so. And if thats the case i dont wanna play with just 4 models or so. ;)

  • a crack addiction is cheaper than wargaming

  • @TheAntman2006 crack dealers even know how to keep their customers happy too. unlike GW

  • @TheAntman2006 but not nearly as fun

  • Comment removed

  • So that's why hitler switched to historics XD

  • @AdeptusNoctem yeah he likes FOW. but he hates playing against russians in late war

  • yea why is it so expensive

  • @legoguy275 if it wasnt there wouldnt be any more hitler videos and games workshop know that see there just thinking of you

  • @destuctir thats right

  • @legoguy275 because the artists that do the models can take up to two years to do really good ones
