I thought Karras was a bro at first, I mean the man makes bitching machines and robots. But then I heard his voice and started to loathe him, and this loathing continued until the end of the game as I joyously cackled at his death.

Whoever voiced Karras deserves a medal. Listen to him talking about the servants finding happiness, you can hear the envy in his voice. You can tell how much he wants to become more like a machine. It's amazing how much subtext can be crammed into a single sentence.

WHat Karras became is... wow. underrated in video game history? Completely creepy, one of the greatest antagonists ever. The recording in the museum in Thief 3 was just... amazing. I can't rant enough.

Yeah, that's the original Karras's voice. And he sound very strange indeed, he had a pronounciation fault, and he was mocked by the nobility for this, that's one of the most reasons why he beared malice against them.
