very cool soap mold! and I love the smell of tea tree too... Dude! save your trimmings! you can save them for a long time, years! and then make a log of rebatch! cute dog ;) And your soap turned out beautifully ! Thanks so much for the great tute :) Oh and that really fat bar of soap you can call a "Paul Bunyan bar" !
I'm unsure of what you did. The hot process method you used was the crock pot, correct? Why did you mention the oven temperature? Did you put the soap in the mold back into the oven and if yes, for how long? Thank you.
Love the marbled colors. Got my husband assigned to make a mold and cutter like your's. Now baker's trick here to swirl it more. Half way through filling the mold take that spatula and stick it in all the way to the bottom of the mold, then run it up and down the mold 2 or 3 times. Repeat the fill in random layers again, and the spatula trick 2 more times. That should give it some swirling. Works on my cakes anyway.
Very nice Keith!, The soap turned out beautifully. I've never seen Hot process colored the way you did it and layered. It gave me an idea. LOL which is a dangerous thing he he he. I wonder if the next time you do this method putting your soap mixtures into piping bags and layering it in the mold that way. I bet it would make some really cool designs. Anyway it's a great Job and your soap looks just great!
I like the way you layered your colors. . I usually fold them together before adding to the mold but I'll have to try your method sometime soon. Thanks for the videos. I really enjoyed them.
I made my own soap mold. You can also buy online from many different vendors. I also have a video on how to make one on my Youtube site. The oven temp is 195 F
Great video! Super instructional. You have made the process simplfied compared to many others I have been watching. Can you tell me where you got your soap mold? And what temp was the oven when you hot processed ? Many thanks

It does not have to cure. It is ready to use as soon as it cools down.

Great pattern - almost like a dairy cow. Thanks for your instructional video - and the one on making your own soap mold.
