  • How does a cube have four sides again, as opposed to six?

  • it's sad that you can't solve a 2x2x2 intuitively.

  • @sharpnova2 how do you do it intuitively? I need algorithms to solve it

  • @gleetooth solving the top layer is completely intuitive.

orienting the bottom layer is intuitive

but permuting the bottom layer might require the algorithm to swap two corners i guess.

  • @sharpnova2 yea, I dont think swapping the corners can be done intuitively. But I can't do the orientation intuitively though

  • @gleetooth just think of the few possible combinations for the bottom orientation. then just think about cycling through them. think of it as a group of positions under the operation that you're trying to find. what operation makes it a group with all group properties. the important thing is that the operation can't take any member out of the group.

don't go from this to an algorithm though. think in terms of the process itself. that's what makes it intuitive.

  • @sharpnova2 ahh interesting, thanks, ill try that

  • whats the point you didn't solve it

  • ultimate fail

  • you can say that again

  • lol

  • ummm...

    it has six sides

    lol
