While that is a very pretty look and reminds me of girls from Harajuku, I think I still prefer the true geisha look!! Oh but I must say that the sleeves of your kimono are wrong!! That looks more like Chinese look. The furi, or sleeve, of a kimono should fall down in a sort of box shape. Very pretty fabric, though.

Where do you get/order your Ben Nye sets from? I'm interested in buying a set of colors for my own makeup hobby.

I bought mine online. Just google Ben Nye and a few retailers should pop up. The pallete I got is the 12 well standard matte pallete, but you can customize your own. Also check your local theatrical stores. They also sell a 6 well pallete, I believe.

How come you wear your wig first while putting makeup on?

I had styled and pinned the wig to my head, so it would stay. Sometimes the vids take too long, and I get tired, so I know if I want to go all out, I'd better do the hair first. lol

ohhh...i know what you mean, that makes sense. asside from a wig, i usually curl my hair first and pin up the curls.....then do my makeup next. then after i'm done with my makeup i take my pins out of my curls...and my curls stay longer and are super bouncy.
