It's hard to understand this UNTIL you have a therapist show you the TMR exercises. My PT did and CURED my intractable, debilitating tennis elbow, not to mention gave me a method to instantly address any stiffness, weakness or pain that crops up in my middle age body. The leg raises work better than Pilates for core strength and the sit-to-stand helped my balance immensely. Find a good PT that does the TMR method and you will find relief in a hurry!
