You dont have to say fade out or fade in btw. It can just cut to black or something. You know, just leave it up to the editors to do that.

Final Draft is what I had to use in college in my screenplay writing class.

you don't have to use screenwriting software, but it makes things a billion times easier.

From what I know, you can download Final Draft for free from file sharing networks, even though you can get a virus.
