shhh...I have a secret to tell you. I had health insurance once through an employer. It covered $9,000 in surgery. I had pre-existing conditions that are relatively rare, including my reason for needing the surgery. I was accepted. But I didn't have outrageously high co-pays like you said I would. I had a terrible time getting them to do anything and their forms were insane. After that I swore I'd never go through that again. Since then I have saved money for my needs.
Health care is not a right in America. I believe that falls under privilege or employee perk or benefit. But nothing that I say to you "gimme" types will ever change your mind. I wasn't here trying to change minds. I was just telling it like it is.

I got out of school one day, walked across the street into an unfinished, emergency room-only hospital and asked what I could do if I didn't have insurance. The receptionist handed me 2 pamplets that would cover most of the cost.
There is no way we could go back if (and when) this doesn't work. Its not like this is free to set up. There is a crap load of money needed to start this not to mention what would be paid for until we realize it doesn't work. Also, there already is help for people who can't afford health insurance.

I agree. Almost nothing about ObamaCare as reported by his lapdogs (aka mainstream media) has been true. That is something else we completely agree on. shhh...I have a secret to tell you. I had health insurance once through an employer. It covered $9,000 in surgery. I had pre-existing conditions that are relatively rare, including my reason for needing the surgery. I was accepted. But I didn't have outrageously high co-pays like you said I would. I had a terrible time getting them to do anything and their forms were insane. After that I swore I'd never go through that again. Since then I have saved money for my needs.

There is no way we could go back if (and when) this doesn't work. Its not like this is free to set up. There is a crap load of money needed to start this not to mention what would be paid for until we realize it doesn't work. Also, there already is help for people who can't afford health insurance.
