I love ponchos, having owned a 67 firebird 400 . This was my dream car as a teen. The looks are classic and sexy . But every late 70's - early TA or Z for that matter was a total rattle box by 80k miles, fit and finish was lacking, to be fair most American cars from this era suffered the same and the frickin' T tops would always leak . I'd like to restore one of these to better than factory . also 79 was last year for a true pontiac ! 6.6 !!!!! My buddy had a 80 with a turbo 301, what a slug ..
My son finally watched Smokey and the Bandit for the first time a couple of weeks ago, now he's hooked on Trans Am's ...just like I was when I first saw it. I'll have to show him this one later. It looks good.

Just cuz you got a Trams am doesn't mean you got drive the ball-bag off it, like mostly everyone does. I like seeing someone drive a TRANS AM normal.
